Anyone ever make up their own conditions?

I do. Since doctors like to turn things into conditions, I do it myself for fun. I liked to say I suffer from laziness.

I was also working on one of my B&J fanfictions and I made up more conditions for three of my characters. Mike has Jerk Personality Disorder and Ignorant syndrome. Benny has Over Protective Brother syndrome. But because ignorance is the majority maybe Ruthie has a condition where she accepts people for them and can see them through their differences and likes them for them. I did it as a joke in my story to be funny. I like to put some humor in my fanfiction.

I also made up a condition about John Best one time and I called it Autism Obsessive Disorder because he obsessed over vaccines and autism and argues with individuals who have it or with individuals who have kids with it. I also did it as a joke.

That's actually a cool idea. Make my own DSM or something, and write about cures and causes and such for them all. HMMMMM.

I have Old Age Syndrome, a condition that you get all the signs of old age (such as memory loss and hot flashes) at a relatively young age. My pet cute bird has Extreme Adorableness Syndrome which means he has well, extreme cuteness and is so cute that if you look at him you will die, delusions (He believes he is God and a few others), and severe depression with occasional mania (kind of like bipolar disorder). My bird cries so much that it isn't even funny. I also have Generalized Confusion Disorder and that's when you get confused about being confused!

Someone I know made up Da Vinci Syndrome - a tendency to start lots of interesting projects and not finish any of them.

Male Pregnancy Obsessive Disorder - Also known as MPOD. Sufferers feel a compulsion to draw pictures of their favorite fictional male characters in a state of pregnancy. In rare cases, the sufferer may also draw the character giving birth. Pictures of pregnancy and/or birth are typically followed by family portraits of the male character, their partner (almost always another male) and the offspring. Many MPOD sufferers become fixated on one specific character. This specialist has seen fixations on every character ranging from Vegeta from Dragonball Z to Optimus Prime from Transformers. Another prominent symptom includes a general or complete disregard for canon storylines/relationships, biology and/or anatomy. In more severe cases, the sufferer may be unable to draw anything except the subject of male pregnancy, leading their online galleries to overflow with depictions of such. MPOD typically affects women more than men, and women who enjoy anime yaoi are particularly at risk of developing this disease. Many of the affected congregate on deviantart as an outlet for their condition as well as to meet others like them. Like others afflicted with serious psychological conditions, MPOD sufferers take comfort in knowing they are not the only ones afflicted with the disease. There is no cure for MPOD, the best treatment option is simply to allow it to run its course.

Thanks for the topic, Spokane_Girl! This is a lot of fun! I'm definitely doing more conditions later!

Yeah I say things like that. I used to say I had 'Daysleeper Syndrome', because I fell asleep regularly in the day and 'Daysleeper' is the name of a song by a band I like. Lately I say I suffer from being Kajjie.

Da Vinci Syndrome? I definatley I have that with my art!

I'd also like to say I have Nearly Disorder: having many oddities that are not quite bad enough to be thought of as symptoms.

Johnny Depp has Eccentric syndrome  He is weird in real life but I like it. I like his quirks.

Here is a condition that lot of people have or I should say lot of men have. They are pigs. What shall I call it. "Obsessive Sex syndrome."

Yeah it's all they ever think about and make it their top priority. If the person doesn't want sex, they leave him/her and go after someone else they can f**k because that is all they care about. :x

The reason why I am not highly into sex. Should I come up with anymore reasons why my sex drive is so low? :P
