I've never *made* myself look unattractive, just never really cared. Making my self look unattractive, imo, is caring way more than making my self look attractive.
For example, I have acne(not really bad, mainly on the forehead, lol), and I found it WAY too inconvenient to put spot cream on every night just to get away a few spots.
But the moment someone told me I dressed like a chav, I pretty much started dressing like an alternative, LOL(serious).
I guess it's all over the place on whether I do or do not care. On non-uniform day at my school, I was panicking like crazy because I noticed I was the only one who wasn't doing what I'd define a complete over kill on clothes(I was wearing no accessories[i.e hat, scarf, necklace, sweat band, giant Gothic style shoes, no make-up(I wasn't bothered about the make-up though, everyone knew I wouldn't wear make-up anyway)]), but I'm MORE than happy(to be honest, incredibly obsessive) to wear the same hair style every day to school, while everyone else wears a new one everyday and dyes their hair like every month...
For those who can't be bothered reading the above: No, I don't deliberately make my self un-attractive.
