At the college for adults and teenagers that I used to attend this guy who i worked with in my class who i was told had aspergers by a lecturer. I was in most of my classes with this guy for a year and apperently he was brought up in a very 'theareatrical family' well at least that is what i was told by one of the teachers. i remember he was VERY loud at times and would say embarresing things. he would spend break times watching cartoons on youtube in the computer section of college and he would also dance as well with no care at all about other students watching him when listening to music. He had no friends and at break times he would walk down the college corridoors just talking and having conversations with himself. he was obssesed with drawing cartoons and would spend a lot of time watching animation cartoons on the colleg computers.

the student with AS would a lot of the time annoy lecturers by turning up to late for a lesson and just in generaly disrupting the class. basicly he would always say what he 'thinks' to anyone, even a stranger. in some ways he acted a bit like rain man. he did also talk in a weird loud accent, i think he was trying to copy a 1950's radio presenters style of speaking. Unfourntantly he was bullied by other NT students for his very oddball behaviour.

do you think it was probably just the he was brought up or do you think he had something else wrong with him besides AS? Apparently as well he announced to everyone he was on medication..........

the college i attended was for all types of people with special needs and also NTs as well, basicly people from all different walks of life.

I suppose it was a combination of all different things. He probably had a bit of anxiety thrown in there as well, since he didn't 'fit in.'

i remmember people mocked him all the time and he was the most ecentric person with aspergers i have met. some people with AS that i have met behave very similar to NTs. to say the least he was 'out there', flat out insane and crazy.

I am not sure if he had AS or classic autisim? He did not seem to care if he was making a fool of himself becuase he acted like a 5 year old child.

the funny thing is he lacked a lot of empathy and if you made a mistake he would have no sympathy and would act very rude. although he was very gullible and that is why he was an easy target.
