I find it hard to take an interest in my surroundings and be vigilant. My surroundings just not stimulating enough for me. Not as stimulating as certain things inside my head. How can I make it so that it's easier for me?

Is it bothersome, though, to you?

Or is it instead another "should be" to make someone else "happy."
You know - someone nagging on you to be or do something else.

I guess the most obvious solution would be a change of environment. Go to more interesting places when you can. Like Jamin said, are you trying to please yourself or someone else? Unless it is affecting your life adversely, I wouldn't worry too much about spending too much time in your head. There's nothing wrong with having high intrapersonal skills.

When you say you have difficulties being vigilant, you you mean you have problems with concentration?
