You can take the test online at multiple sites. There's one here:

http://www.9types.com/newtest/homepage.actual.html

and

http://similarminds.com/test.html

Some better descriptions here:

http://www.enneagraminstitute.com/descript.asp

Since I've read into it more, it seems the online ones aren't overly in depth. One thing most of them fail to highlight is that every type has a 'wing', or a secondary enneagram besides the dominant enneagram number.

A good book which I found really helpful is:

'Wisdom of the Enneagram' (which you can buy on the second site I posted). There's actually some good tips in there.

I'm a 5 with a 6 wing.

I'm going to take a guess most of us with AS are fives!

I'm very much a type 5.
I scored:
Type 1: 2
Type 2: -5
Type 3: 2
Type 4: 6
Type 5: 11
Type 6: -3
Type 7: -9
Type 8: -7
Type 9: 3

("Type" has started to seem like a very odd word after writing that.)

What a STUPID test!

Q: 2+2=
a: 1+3
b: .5+3.5

Q: OJ was
a: black
b: found guilty of murder in a civil suit though a criminal suit found him not guilty

strongly a, moderately a, no preference,moderately b,strongly b.

STILL, I tried the whole thing:

Enneagram Personality Type Indicator Results
Your highest score will indicate you basic type, or it will be among the top 2-3 scores. Low scores in some type might come out negative. That's perfectly normal.
For best results, you should answer all the questions that apply.

Type 1 Type 2 Type 3 Type 4 Type 5 Type 6 Type 7 Type 8 Type 9
7 1 -4 -6 15 -1 -11 4 -5

So does this mean
Type 5,1,8,2,6,3,4,9,7?

The Nine Personality Types of the Enneagram
Type 1: The Reformer. The rational, idealistic type.
Type 2: The Helper. The caring, nurturing type.
Type 3: The Motivator. The adaptable, success-oriented type.
Type 4: The Artist. The intuitive, reserved type.
Type 5: The Thinker. The perceptive, cerebral type.
Type 6: The Skeptic. The committed, security-oriented type.
Type 7: The Generalist. The enthusiastic, productive type.
Type 8: The Leader. The powerful, aggressive type.
Type 9: The Peacemaker. The easygoing, accommodating type.

I got type four, with a score of twelve. My second was type 6 with a score of five and my third was type seven with a score of two. I'm not sure my score came out exactly right.

The poll is a bit mucked up now. You shouldn't have given us two tests.
