I guess that's what you'd call me, yeah.

I am intersexed but really do not make a distinction between that and trans. Check out my YT channel. It might help you to get connected. http://www.youtube.com/aragonpr

I am transgender, I think I may be on the autism spectrum. Anecdotally, I've heard a lot of people say that most trans people they know are on the spectrum or have someone in their family on the spectrum.

I know one transgendered person who is a diagnosed Aspie, and my very good friend who I am almost certain is on the spectrum is sorta bi-gendered, where he feels like he is both male and female..sometimes more one than the other...He cross dresses and is in to military regalia..He is heterosexual though....but kinda in to more "butchy" dominant women...

I knew one aspie in my area who considered himself transgendered. He was still a guy because he hadn't gotten a sex change yet. He was going to start taking hormones he says.

Transgendered and Aspie (there's a slight possibility I'm intersexed as well, but I've never tested it). There seems to be an oddly disproportionate number of AS people who are also TG/TS. One of my stepkids is also strongly Aspie and TG.

Well, it's good to hear that there are some here that are trans too.

I am FTM, and have been to social/support type groups for other FTM's and all the other guys seem like any other NT at an NT gathering. I will be there not knowing what to say, bored, anxious, disconnected, and feeling very out of place.

I have never been around other AS people to my knowledge. Is it easier to "connect", or be around each other versus NT's?

Sort of MtF. I say "sort of" becaue I tend to prefer Kate Bornstein's more flexible approach to gender. Gender Outlaw is a great book if you haven't encountered it yet.

I don't find so. On a superficial level, yes, there's a certain connection because of shared experiences and mindset; but aside from that, I don't find that I get along any better with other Aspies than I do with NTs in the long term. It's like we're all aliens on a planet of humans, but most of us are from different worlds.

Yes. I'm transgender and somewhere on the spectrum. The relationship between the two intrigues me.

For me, it varies just as much as it does with NTs. That said, most of my friends over time have been in that odd gray area of severe geekdom that may or may not start to push the edges of being on the spectrum. I'm not sure if that's due to common interests or common forms of social interaction.

I know many people who are. I'm nongendered (neither transgender nor cisgender).
