^^ Greetings everyone. I believe that for a very long time indeed (since I was a young child I believe) possess the impulse to continuously keep walking whilst I am happily speaking upon the phone. ^^ I find this interesting and perhaps wondered if any other individuals carry out this act? Also, I am very sorry if this is perhaps an incorrect place for this little topic.

yeah I do that. I've basically scaled the whole world 3 times once I've put the phone down. (well not exactly the world but ya get my drift)

I don't use a phone much, although I'd imagine I too might do that. I often pace the floor when listen to something on headphones.

Yep. I definitely do this - through nearly every room in my house, with a cup of coffee in hand.

Yep...I can hardly NOT pace...on my toes...when talking on the phone....or get into odd postures...while gesticulating wildly....can't help it...this is in the rare event that I am having an actual phone "conversation" that I am not hastily trying to get out of...because I hate hate hate talking on the phone most of the time.

Yeah, I'm not a phone chatter, either. Get to the point and get off. But I too pace, or wander from room to room - and these tiny little Zoolander nightmares called cell phones drive me crazy - they're too small to just tuck under your chin while you multitask, like land line phones were. If you have to look for a document, or turn pages, I've gotta put the damn thing down, while I get distracted, and once the info is in hand, I have to go searching for the phone again!

I think I only do it when I'm nervous. With my family or boyfriend on the phone I can sit still. Otherwise I do laps of the kitchen table

Massive pacer.

Pace in house, yes, but also long insane walks. THen I started to run. It seems I have no end point. I used to run 3 hours a day till I got hurt and it is hell .

Now I try to walk. I still have to move like 3 hours a day......

I move and pace like a hamster. I got bit by one and my family jokes that I have hamster DNA! It is that obvious.

I prefer to pace nonstop while on the phone. I don't have to, though.

For some reason I'm not aware, I have a hammer by the phone. I sit on the floor and hold it while I talk. :hmph:

I can't talk on the phone and sit or stand still. I'll move all around the house. Especially while it's dialing, when I call someone. Before they pick up the phone I always get slightly anxious and have to move. So yeah, I pace a lot when I'm on the phone.

Yes, I do that. I suppose it might be a kind of stim. I sometimes stim in the middle of conversations when I am concentrating very intensely.

I had a two month obsession with smart phones...so I do like phones. I just do not talk on them much. I mostly use it to have a small piece of the internet everywhere.

I do pace while on the phone. But pacing is a regular thing with me. I paced constantly until I moved to a city...now i just take walks.
