Question is the title

Do you feel alone in this world?

There are days that I feel alone. Being trans and preferring Germany over Britain is a big cross to carry, sometimes.

I am a loner, so yes.
However, until recently I never felt lonely.
I've been quite comfortable being by myself, but not having any friends has begun to disturb me.
I'm working on it, but it's hard in this part of the country, because there aren't that many places here where one gets to meet new people naturally.

Am I alone? Yes. There's only two family members left and they dont speak to me but that's actually a good thing. All I ever got from them was a hard time anyway.

Am I lonely? Not at all. I am free to live my own life, do what needs doing when I feel the time is right to do it.

So life is good. 8)

I have heard that Scandinavians focus all their "talking to stangers" on fellow hikers. The walking is good for low moods anyway - maybe you all get on a "nature high" that breaks down barriers.

There is some truth to that, albeit a bit over simplified.
Many Swedes actively avoid their neighbours and never ever talk to strangers at the bus, train, or subway. If you do most people will think you're insane or on drugs.
But if you eg go hiking, sailing, or visit a small village it is customary to at least say "Hi" to strangers. I think that it's because you feel kind of like you're part of the same club.

Sometimes, but that's life. I try to think of the things that are well in my life when I start feeling too lonely.

Sometimes yes. Not alone as in being by myself as I'm married/family but alone as in not having anyone to relate to with all this autism stuff.

I can't find what I am looking for.

I want to find fun but people in my world are negative. They all hate themselves.

Because I am different I am expected to hate myself

I am bored

They are too serious

I wish I could have some fun
