does any one know of a complete list of charecteristics

My mom's freind of many years is very similar to me ( I have asperger's syndrome)

We told he to look into an organization about asperger's and we think she has it and she did identify herself with the other people at the support meeting. Mom mom wants to find a complete list.

I saw one on the internet a long long time ago I cant seem to find it. do anyof you know any thing that this could be ?

Or what Im looking for is like a checklist of features she could bring to her psychologist

she going to be going to a new one that is very familiar with ASD's i dont know how shes gonna pay for it though

For adults, there's an unofficial checklist based on the Australian Scale for Asperger's Syndrome: Adult Australian Scale

This should give a rough overview of traits indicative of ASD in an adult and doesn't need to be super official if she is going to seek a professional diagnosis anyway. Someone filled it in for me a couple of years ago and recognised a very large number of my traits from the descriptions.

She should also complete the AQ and other tests, which are official instruments for adults.

One such online test can be found here:

I recommend using the test and the conclusion as a sort of unofficial diagnosis. I recommend AGAINST seeking an official diagnosis (at least here in the Police States of America) unless you are sure of the opportunity to gain some monetary benefit from such. Because I am diagnosed with autistic disorder, I am ineligible for private health insurance. However, the same diagnosis does not make me eligible for any form of government aid whatsoever because I have been employed in the past.
