I listened to a podcast of a CBC Radio interview she did early in her career. One of the things she did that amazed Peter Gzowski was to repeat the things that he said as he was saying them: what she referred to as "shadow speaking". I thought that was neat, because I do that too, especially when I'm listening to a Blue Jays game on the radio (although I only copy one of the announcers--after all, I'm only one man). I don't think this is such a weird thing at all, just something that can be done with practice (it actually didn't take me much practice to do it). But maybe it is an unusual thing to do, that not everyone else can. So I have to smile at that.
