Clearly horoscopes aren't written for people on the spectrum. Here's what mine says:

"You may take on a peacemaking role or be the mediator within a group dynamic. You find it easy to make new friends!"
:D

I think they may mean like IF you are in a situation where you CAN make friends. But yeah, I noticed that about horoscopes too.

I freaked out and got depressed about many horoscope things I read that really hit the nail on the head about my life, personality, relationships, etc.

Everything I've seen and read about horoscopes is consistent with them being a con trick. The "you find it easy to make friends" may be an attempt to appeal to the reader's ego. Few people would want to admit that they're not very likeable, it seems. I smell a hastily-constructed Barnum statement. You're supposed to ignore it if it fails, because you're supposed to be reading horoscopes because you (want to) believe they work. A few folks will see through it and realise it's a scam, but they're unlikely to be able to use that insight to damage the game's credibility in the eyes of the believers. But at least you've sussed it out for yourself.

That stuff is just for fun, not to be taken seriously. Usually, if it says to attend to daily tasks, I'm okay. However, that business about dynamic leadership and romantic prospects is questionable.

Mine are usually so generic that something turns out to be true. The ones that say "relationship success looks promising" or something of that ilk are laughable.

Good point, it's not a religion any more, at least for most people. Still, it seems a lot of folks take it seriously enough to say they believe in it:
"A 2005 Gallup poll revealed that 28% of women believe in astrology, compared to 23% of men."

The same article has a go at explaining the harm of astrology.
