Roleplaying characters? Come show them c:
Ah, I don't have a lot but I have refined a story more to one of my characters and her world of origin, Cryssna. I hope to write more on Cryssna later |3
Some characters I only have concept art for, though
This is Marie, my main character and persona, as you can see. She's a bit silly and tends to be cuddly towards a lot of people, even those that she's barely met, though this can be a bit of a fault to her. She also has this collar and leash pet mentality going, murr hurr, how fun >:3
I also made this to show different costumes~ but I had some help from my boyfriend o:
Age: 17
Race: Cryssnan
Weapon of Choice: Crystal construct
Abilities: light magic, crystal creation, flight
Strengths: can run on all fours, durable skin, instant regeneration of body parts
Weaknesses: can't swim, pinned down easily, low pain tolerance, easily scared
About: Marie is the 9th generation born to the clan of the Hima Kari, one of the three families of the moon-dwelling Cryssnans that wield the power of creation. Typically the trait of creation shown up in male members of the Hima Kari family, but yet, Marie managed to wield the power at a young age. Because of this she was revered as a goddess and possibly the first incarnation of Elana, the mother of all Cryssnans, to be born among the race.
The Hima Kari family held a high royal status, her father the emperor who was in charge of leading the proud race of the moon. However, when world-eaters appeared to eat away the crystal core of their celestial body, they found this parasitic race to be unstoppable. He ordered Cryssna's greatest engineers to craft a flying ark for them to fly to a new world, and as the world was finally setting into decay the ark was finished. By now, due to the damage of the core food could no longer grow, and famine set in. To add to that, disease ran rampant, and both Marie and her mother contracted it. No amount of healing could save the queen, and in the end she died, but Marie survived to be evacuated to the ark, along with her childhood friend, Nefaru. Her father, however, gave his body to create the ark's engine, and though she was unaware, he martyred himself for the last of his race to escape.
As the Cryssnan Ark left the moon was covered in a noxious gas that choked and killed the last of the Cryssnans, covering it in a layer of white dust that made the surface seem lifeless, and erase all evidence of life, let alone a civilization, existing there. However, there was a hope that one day the Cryssnans could create a new core, and bring life back to their homeland...
During the flight however, the ark began to shake, possibly hit from a meteorite in the sky. Marie, seen as the last hope for their race, was encased in a giant crystal and shot outwards along with a few others. Each were set to land on earth, and with the protection of the gem all encased survived the impact. The fate of the Cryssnan ark, however, was a mystery. Marie and Nefaru, due to the circumstances of landing, were separated from hundreds, if not thousands of miles. When she came to from the crystal she was on an alien land, completely alone, and realizing her family and friends were gone. However, she had a hope that Nefaru made it to this world as well, and that they would come to be united once again.
A few had witnessed her falling from the sky though, and she was brought to a city to be raised by ebil and skullions, though at first she was terrified, she managed to settle into a new life and learn the language. She would grow older, staying in that city, waiting to see if Nefaru could find her, or any other survivors from Cryssna. It wouldn't be until years later that she would fulfill her destiny to create the second Cryssna country, an island that floats over the earth, rotating in alignment with the moon.
The Hima Kari is also regarded as a gate spirit, a creature that can open gateways to other planes and dimensions, though it comes at the high price of a great amount of mana and life energy. Every plane has one gate spirit too it, and so there are are infinite number of them, but scattered across existence.
Oh yeah, and I made a Jirachi spinoff of Marie since I liked rping pokemon sometimes~
This ended up being another character preferred by people, though she's a bit reserved for an rper named Drakeero. By appearance, she is another collar-and-leash character.
Age: 19
Race: Vennecian(rabbit anthro)
Weapon of Choice: legs
Abilities: kickboxing, jumping
Strengths: speed, strong legs
Weaknesses: low pain tolerance, overly passive, barely any aggression to fight
About: Born to a sailor's wife she lived her life on the seas, traveling with her father. However, the ship they sailed were plundered by seadogs, and she was taken among the stolen goods of the ships. By then she was only four years and age, and she didn't have much value, so the pirate crew sold her to Drisdain ';pet shop' where she spent the rest of her life on display. She had grown attatched to staying there, and for her good behavior she was given a key to go in and out of her cage as she pleased, sometimes helping take care of the animals there. Currently she is awaiting adoption.
This one is Panfy, though there's no written profile for her since she has a character sheet instead. She's an artathi bard for dungeons and dragons, though currently she is in NPC mode.
Of course I have a villain too, though she doesn't get used much. Kiza's been a pretty popular character of choice when people pick which char they want to go with, though really, she doesn't make for a good one on one rping so much as she is more of a plot supporter, being very antisocial and all.
Race: Fox anthro demon
Age: immortal
About: Many years ago a young fox’s family was killed in a fox-hunt; a mere sport among humans. She had to as a kit observe her family being shot and skinned for the hobby of it. Since then she had become a hostile, feral animal, driven mad by the humans invading into her forest. One would not imagine an animal to gain a sense of revenge, but Kiza did.
One day she wandered into the forest; a dark aura had seeped into the earth by demons appearing. These creatures were the solution to humans, making them the dominant predator until the humans fought back with magic. Her hopes for revenge had been dashed, or so she assumed. One of the slain demons had dropped a weapon; a dark scythe of the sorts that was stained in blood. The scent of human blood seemed to bring to her a sick pleasure and as she walked forward she sniffed the blade. In an unexpected reaction the blade ascended into the air, coming down on the young fox and plunging into her body. She was filled with unimaginable pain as a gash formed. Blood poured all around her, her body seemed to fall apart and reform as bone, blood then flesh before she passed out. When she woke she realized she was standing on two feet; her form was much like a human and she found herself wielding this scythe, now having the power to fulfill her vengeance.
This one is Swin, but I haven't thought up a profile or a use for her yet. Nya, oh well o:
I have more I could show but I guess I can leave it at this for now |3

May I first start out by saying that those are some cool characters and some pretty nice art MarieElana, I adore antropomorphic animals
This is the most interesting thread I have read in a while, sadly I doubt it will get many replies
Anyway, here are a few of my characters:
First, my first D&D character, the cleric Skjold Landburg.
(He is the one in the back/middle looking traumatised)
Skjold was found by priests of Pelor the sungod when he was still a baby. He was hidden under a shield in the ruins of his village. Noone knows who or what raized the village and slayed the villagers, but from the tracks it seemed that a single creature was responsible for the slaughter.
Skjold was raised in the temple by the strickt priests. He was always a good soul, but he was far to passive and submissive for his own good, always letting others push him around. It soon became evident that he had a flare for healing, and he made a name for himself when he saved the barons daughter from a disease that the temple priests thought would be fatal no matter what they did.
Much against the advice of the priests at the temple of Pelor Skjold decided to go off adventuring when he came of age, believing that his healing talents could do more good if at the disposal of a band of would-be heroes.
I feel sorry for Skjold, the scenario where I played him went so terrible wrong for our party. But in retrospeck we propably should have turned back when we encountered that little girl who was eating her parents and acting like we were the crazy ones.
Then there is Minn Silverwing, another cleric, I mostly play clerics, as they are my favorite class:
Minn is one of the few characters who I actually wrote a background story for, normally I keep everything in my head, but here goes:
23 years ago a single mother left her son at the temple of Pelor in the small city of Langtow. The boy, she said, was named Minn Silverwing after his father. Young Minn obviously had some celestial blood in him, but his mother didn't seem aware of this, and merely said that "He looks like his father" when asked about the boys looks.
The mother left in the dead of night, leaving no word of explaination. A little 2 year old as the only profe that she had ever been there at all.
The human cleric Elai Dugell and his wife the elven ranger Shia adopted him and raised him as their own.
When Minn was 5 years old, his fosterparents took another fosterchild, the boy Caron. Caron was only 5 months younger than Minn, and the boys instantly grew to see eachothers as brothers. But something strange lay about Caron. Every month Shia would take him into the nearby forest for days at the time, never explaining why. And when asked, Caron shied away. When Minn was 12 he followed his mother and brother into the wilds, and discovered them just as Caron changed into a werewolf, Minn still has four thin scars on his arm from that night. When Caron came to his senses and realised what he had done, he fled in tears, but Minn caught up with him and assured him that it was okay. From that day onward Minn always followed on Carons trips into the wilds.
At age 15 Minn started his education as a cleric. He was schooled in religion, healing and divine magic. He also showed a talent at the celestial language, a witness to his heritage no doubt. On his trips with Caron he hardened his body and came to love nature and all of its creatures. One spring the boys aided and befriended a treenymph, who in return tought them sylvan, the language of all woodland creatures. Shaped by these two different worlds, Minn developed a philosophy of serving others rather than himself, and when he was 19 summers old, he left on a quest to make the world a better place.
He would often return in between adventures, but right now, he is adventureing...

Once I knew everything, then I got smarter, now the only thing I know is that I know nothing.
Strange how that worked out isn't it?
Hmm, all those classes mentioned seem to make me think you are another DnDer? I got a few characters for DnD, my most current is a warforged trying to be human, which ends up being quite a humorous thing |3
And yeah, I had a feeling this topic may be a bit overlooked with all these quiz threads around :<
