I guess I'm not doing as well as I thought because the questions and the answer are really true, even if I'm more stable then before.

You Have the Fears of a Child
At your core, you are still very young and vulnerable.
You still haven't found your place in the world, and you're wondering how you will fit in.

You tend to have highly emotional fears. You worry that your whole world will fall apart.
Your life is fairly unstable right now. Your fears feel very vivid and very real.

You Have the Fears of an Adult

Image

Your fears don't paralyze you - they are very rooted in reality.
You have had enough loss in your life to know more is to come, and you dread it.

Compared to most people, you deal with your fears well. They don't ruin your life.
Your fears are strong and very real, but you try to let them go. You know you can't control what happens.

Same.

I don't think that fear of the dark question really applies to me though :?

I have pretty decent vision, so I can navigate my way in the dark pretty easily. And after doing it for a while, I kinda lost my fear of the dark.

Questions 3, 4, and 6 don't really apply to me, and 7 only kind of.

So any result isn't really accurate. I'm not afraid of social rejection or anything like that. To be honest, I'm afraid of pretty much nothing except those things which cause direct harm. Leaving questions out probably obscures the results, as my results rather varied depending on which I filled in.

You Have the Fears of a Teenager

You are still finding your footing in the world, and a lot fear stems from your own insecurity.You feel ready to be more independent and successful, but you're worried if you can really do it.You fear failure, and you also fear humiliating yourself. The less confident you are, the more afraid you are.Over time you are learning that everyone is afraid... you just have to act as if you're not!

My results were pretty accurate but the questions were all either or questions that don't take ambiguities into account. Question 3 in particular.

You worry more that you are:

* A sell out
* A misfit

Well, I'm already a misfit--so being a sellout would be my fear.But then again why would I want to fit in anyway?

:)

The first part, fits pretty well. The second part, not so much.

Question 1, I'm not really afraid of either. I picked the second answer ("Being in the dark outside your room"), but it's more like.... I'm afraid of things that are more likely to happen in the dark. (otherwise, I like/love the dark, and going for walks at night.).

On the question "What is a bigger fear" I had to pick fear of myself dying, since both my parents are gone.

I think it's pretty true for me. Being an aspie and getting a late start on everything (dating, losing my virginity, moving out of my parents' home, etc), it's no surprise that my fears are stuck in an earlier social development stage. Oh well, I'll catch up in time. As long as I can put up a presentable front, I'll be fine.
