Anger, Rage,Revenge for the most part is counterproductive and in my experience the only one left hurting is oneself, even after slashing his clothes after his sordid affair ( just an example, never done that ).

Revenge is short lasting while not letting go, not forgiving and not moving on is self destructive and very painful causing havoc with physical health even.
