Sadly, that is true, unless you count taking Nik and Nem outside.
Very unfair! (I saw Turtle Pond in Central Park in 2003, and didn't see a single turtle. When my mother was there in 2004 she saw turtles there.)

I've rarely come upon a turtle myself, but I have occasionally. It's kind of a rare site even though there are lots of native turtles here.

I haven't actually seen it, only heard of it. It certainly looks like something I would enjoy. I usually like that kind of mivies.

I don't really know the different turtle species, but I know I've seen snapping turtles, box turtles, and softshells in the wild. Those are common where I'm from.

There's a sea turtle in Milo and Otis.

There is? Now it went from 'seems cute' to I have to see it.

I haven't since my childhood. I thought it was okay then, but it wasn't a favorite.
