Laura decided to go back in with Mike, after she saw the issues Anna was having. She held the soft Sylveon in her arms, who now seemed to calm down and was purring contently, with her feelers wrapped around Laura's arms.

"Another one?" She whispered to Anna, who perked up slightly in curiosity when she heard the word 'wormhole'.

"Many cannot hear the Universe with their ears, so listen inside yourself." Jian instructed, and then laughed aloud. "Here I go again, going back into teacher mode. Anyway, I taught two entire Hogwarts classes to hear the Universe, so since they can, you can, too."
Aelkai, meanwhile, was literally staring off into space, smiling at the mysterious ghost girl shimmering transparently against the fathomless stars.

A soft, strange melody seemed to be playing from nowhere:

"How do you 'listen inside yourself'?" Calem asked, tilting his head to the side with a puzzled look on his face.

Anna had fallen asleep in Laura's lap, her ribbons intertwined in her arms. She could hear the song, and it lulled the Fairy type to sleep. Laura looked as sad as a wilted flower, because she diddn't feel as special with Eyne, Jian and Alekai constantly being magical. Sure, litterally anything could happen now, in fact it wouldn't surprise her at all if Mew just appeared, which wasn't that Farfetch'd, considering that there was apparently one sleeping in Eyne's cloak. Heck, if anybody was gonna transform into a Magical Girl all of the sudden, it would probably gonna be somebody else carrying out her dreams for her, since fate simply doesn't pick ordinary girls like her to be as cool as that.

Laura squeezed her eyes shut, trying to listen for something. She could her something, very distant and faint, but then it was gone. She sighed, frustrated with herself.

Aelkai noticed Laura's sad expression and drifted over to her. "You can listen inside me if you want. Just put your forehead against mine, and I will help you listen to the Universe song." Aelkai gently set her forehead against Laura's and breathed deeply, filling Laura's heart and mind with song.

"Hey, um, am I really all that special? In the terms of this whole universe, there has to be several other girls just like me and hold a way more important position in scociety than just being the strongest Pokemon Trainer in a certain part of the world." She looked at the ground, slightly embarrased. "Sorry. It's just that when Q called the Kalos Leauge petty, that... Made me a little sad.

Ah... It's so pretty." She sighed, once she heard the song. She felt calmed and just as bubbly as before. She hummed to the relaxing tune, gently cuddling the Sylveon in her arms. Laura lifted her head off of Alekai, still smiling softly.

"Everyone in the whole Universe is special, yet all connected." Jian murmured absently, gazing out at the nebulae and star clusters whirling with amazing light.

"Connected? What's that supposed to mean?" Laura asked, curiously.

"When you look at people, or the stars, or anything at all, what do you see?" Aelkai asked in a tone that clearly stated that she somehow saw things in a completely different way.

"Normally, everything I see would be all metaphorically glittery and shiny, but that's just my childish ways of seeing things. I mean, when I look at Calem, I see somebody I want to constantly ambush in hugs," A slight tinge of pink went across Calem's cheeks at Laura's mention of him. "When I look at Anna, I see a cuddly cutie who's a total dragon-slaying powehouse in battles, and I could go on. Is that what you meant?"

Outside the ship, Guinan tried to listen. She thought she heard something. "Would it help if I tried to hum the song to try and hear it, feel it, better? Not that I can sing," she mused aloud in between Mike's voice communications with Mason.

Guinan responded to the comment about Q. "Oh, Q thinks everything and everyone is beneath him," she pointed out with a wry chuckle.

Mike: "Now you need to call the wormhole retrieval function with the command whRetrieve(6,97) to retrieve wormhole 97 from storage and bring it to chamber 6."
Mason: "Done."
Mike: "Now wait about 30 seconds for the machinery to do it's thing."

During the moment of silence Mike hears Aelkai mention the music and he hears a faint and distant melody. That's odd, since when did the universe have music? He gets a bit distracted and lost listening to it.

Sam snaps him out of it when he says "Mike, I have analyzed the data and it is consistent with a wormhole opened by Nexus station." Mike gets a look of bewilderment and exclaims "But that's impossible, according to Mason the Heiwa Federation hasn't gained control of the wormhole machinery." Sam simply replies, "That assumes that there is only one Nexus Station."

~Meanwhile on the ground~

Inside a cloud there is a bright flash accompanied by a bang when the shock-wave hits from the energy released as a spacial fissure opens up. The resulting wormhole starts sucking in the surrounding air and most of the small cloud it was inside until the pressure on both sides of the wormhole are equalized. The spherical wormhole then expands a bit as it falls from the sky, three robotic arms come out of it and use their negative energy generators to stretch the wormhole into a flat triangle large enough for a person to walk through. Once the wormhole hits the ground more robotic arms come out to prop it upright and some feet fold out from the other side of it so that it can rest upright on the ground.

Through the wormhole a walkway can be seen leading towards the wormhole as well as a bunch of advanced equipment. Mike comes through the wormhole followed by his assistant bot Sam hovering close behind. The things that folded out of the wormhole then fold back in which causes it to collapse into a small sphere again, Mike takes out two halves of a capsule the size of a water bottle and puts them together around the now very small wormhole. A few lights light up on the high-tech looking capsule as Mike stows it in his lab coat, and then he folds a scanner attachment out of his white robotic left arm in place of his hand and starts scanning some plants. He looks around the very Earth-like world in amazement.

In case it wasn't obvious, this is not the Mike in space with everyone else. While we are exploring the multiverse I figured I would bring in some of the more unusual things it implies. We briefly touched in the idea of there being alternate versions of everyone, but I figured I would explore that a bit more.

[Oh dear. Two Mikes. ]

"When I look at all of you, I see you as a lovely lot of light and love." Aelkai revealed casually, as if commenting on how pretty the stars were. "Enye can see that way, too."
"I'm still learning how to do that." Jian added, almost apologetically.

"Wait, me? As in... Me?" She looked absolutely astounded at what Jian just said.

"Oh don't sound so surprised, Laura," Guinan said. "You saved Kalos Region from Team Flare, right? There's love in that, and you have family and friends and pokemon who you love."

"That is why I love everyone!" Aelkai exclaimed ecstatically, smiling hugely.

"Do..."

There it was again, the pull-y feeling. The sick, uneasy pull-y feeling. Their mind pulling back on their tongue, causing the words to fade halfway through.

They looked away. They didn't wanna embarass themselves.

"D.."

Oh s**t, it came out.

Crap. Their eyes went wide.


....But Aelkai just smiled.

".."

What?

..

..

Why?

...

...

...

Why? their mind demanded.

..

..

...

Why?!

They glanced at Aelkai suspiciously.

"..."

But she just smiled.



Lilli's eyes went wide, glancing about uneasily.

".... Uh..."

Crap, crap, crap. People were looking at them, people were staring at them, ohhhh my gods.

Their mind wanted to collapse in on itself, they just wanted to melt right then and there.

They-- they didn't like that feeling, they didn't like it at all,
they wanted to run, they wanted to hide... Gahh..

Panic was overwhelming them, their breathing increasing, their eyes dilated.

In a panic, they looked around them. Naked...
They felt naked, vulnerable...

Eyes.. Boring into them, judging their every movement.

Any potential thought, potential action could be used to hurt them...

Everyone was a hawk-- their eyes piercing Lilli, and Lilli became a deer-- their eyes wide, paralyzed with fear.

Slowly, their eyes trailed upward, creeping up to meet Aelkai's.

"Are you..."

They looked away.

"Do you..."

".........."

"......doyouloveme?" they said quickly.
