Those tsashouna in Russia and Finland were built when timber cost money. Woodwork was not common, poor people gathered money. That's why they are small and look the way they do.

It seems the tsashouna would be called 'kapell' (chapel) here. How many people do they have room for? I guess the congregations must be small, or only some enter while the rest are outside?
Or is the sort of chapel people come to as they wish to light candles and pray privately?

Are they at war with sea? JK. Our neighbor country Sweden has had frequent reports of submarines entering their fjords. The last time was October last year. It became classified as a possible submarine, based on a picture and two observations. The Navy didn't find it.

Russia is not at war with with the sea, it's at war with the rest of the world. It's an invisible silent war, like the Cold War, and may soon erupt into a real global war.

gave a speech at the United Nations, got mad at America, took off his shoe, pounded it on the podium, and yelled

Russians are very cold-resistant, they go swimming during the winter.
