Granted (and this is pretty obvious) the aliens annihilate the human race.

I wish for someone who loves me completely and I love them back completely and is around for my entire life.

Granted. You do a split by means of slipping on a banana.

Granted. The Easter bunny comes out with a few one-liners, gets a cult following and then gets crucified.

I wish sitcoms didn't have canned laughter attached to them. (I just tried watching that sitcom the Big Bang Theory and it was unwatchable due to the constant canned laughter superimposed on the program.)

Granted. Now you have people laughing at the program on the couch next to you, only when it's not funny at all.

Granted, but Dwarven ale can only be served to dwarfs, so the bartender chops off your legs at the knees before giving you your pint.

I wish for a pint of Old Peculiar.

Granted, but Old Peculiar is tainted with laxatives.

I wish I could meet Jonas from the book "The Giver".

Granted. You get depressed beyond recognition and get in an emotional feeding frenzy ending like Jabba the Hut.

I had a quick peek at the wikipedia article about the book, something about an utopia that was actually more like an distopia. That guy being some expert on knowledge from the time before society he lives in became a controlled utopia. If you met him and get to know what he knew I wouldn't be surprised you'd became sick-of-it-all depressed in a heartbeat.
