At last, it is still light out near 8:00 P.M.!

(Train whistle, the Ghost Express appears, stops)

"The Ghost Express leaving for Azeroth, Baker Street, Gotham City, Island of Sodor, MASH 4077th, Middle-Earth, Neverland, Oz, Panem, Sleepy Hollow, Springfield, Westeros, Wonderland, and other places like that!"

When's the train due? I don't wanna miss out on those destinations!

"All aboard!"

That would be now. Last call for passengers at this stop.

*sprints frantically towards the train, ticket in hand, makes a leap and lands inside the railway wagon just as the doors close*

Made it!

"All aboard! Let's go!"

(Steam hisses. Train whistles, departs.)

By the way, the engine is a classic steam locomotive.

Yes. I think it was him I saw last night. There was a knock at the door and a guy asked for directions to Crystal Lake. I don't know the way so I had to tell him that I couldn't help him. He didn't look too happy. I hope it didn't make him mad.

Was he a camp counselor?

Hard to tell. He was very pale though, almost as if he was wearing a mask. But surely that can't be it. Hopefully he found his way to Crystal Lake where I'm sure he will spend a peaceful Friday night.

it depresses me to know that my being young means i will see a lot of great people die in my lifetime. WW2 vets and all.

I know. There are so few of them left.

There is not a single World War I veteran alive.

Yes, it is sad to see the older generations go. We also lose so much knowledge and stories with their passing.

Indeed, which means all that can be learned from them must be learned while it is still possible.
