Sylkat, if you ever want me to delight you with stories about Norwegian delicacies such as the gelatinous lutefisk (aged cod (air-dried) or dried/salted fish esp. cod (klippfisk) and lye (lut), or rakafisk (trout or char salted and fermented for anywhere between 2 and 12 months, then eaten without cooking), or smalahove (where the skin and fleece of the head of a sheep is torched, the brain removed, and the head is salted, and sometimes smoked, and dried.
