How about hidden treasure?

Hmm... personally I am more interested in exploring such a place than in finding treasure. Just knowing that no one else has seen it for years! I've always really been fascinated by exploring crawlspaces, passageways, parts of buildings I don't have access to etc.
I don't mind treasure of course, but exploration is the main thing for me.

Kip, your attic sounds very exciting! Do you think you'll ever try to get the door opened?

^True, but watch out for crumbling floors, stairs, and roofs. They will ruin your day.

That's very true, and a big threat for those who actively engage in urban exploring (the exploration of abandoned buildings and areas).

probably when my dad goes back to work and i will have time alone in the house earlier than 10 PM.

this is what i'm speaking of. it probably is too small to be an attic door, probably a small vent to a tiny room holding a couple of boxes. the area immediately beneath it is full of clutter and forgotten bowls, not to mention the fridge. i expect a mess of cracked dried paint and dust if i ever try to pry it open.
