Presumably the E-I E-I means they have donkeys. So maybe:

That was the beginning of the end of Nazi Germany.

I've seen the Normandy Invasion presented on Movies and TV like in Saving Private Ryan, The Longest Day, and Band of Brothers.

I've been looking into ancestors of mine that fought in WWI and WWII, through their military records. It's been fascinating looking at where they went and what they did. Two of them died in Europe; if I ever get the chance I might visit where they're buried and pay my respects.

Both of my grandfathers fought in World War II.

I just watched an interesting set of documentary television programs about the 1930s. It covered the Stock Market Crash of 1929, The Civilian Conservation Corps, The Hoover Dam, The Dust Bowl, and the horse Seabiscuit.

Very interesting, but a dark and troubling time.
