There are several words for ghost:

spøkelse (the most commonly used word for ghost)
gjenganger
gjenferd
draug (usually used about those who died at sea)

Skitty, cat would be katt (or sometimes katte, although that will often imply not liking it, though sometimes it's merely regional dialect difference)

en katt - katten - katter - kattene

(ei katte - katta - plural the same as above)

gjenganger may sound similar to doppelganger, but doppelganger is actually called dobbeltgjenger here

Glad you liked it :) Pussycat actually has 2 words in Norwegian, by the way: kattepus, pusekatt. short form is pus (pronounced poos, rhymes with ooze)
