Granted, you receive an offer in the mail for 50% off an airline ticket. In the fine print it says you have to buy at least three for the offer to apply.


I wish for a large, detailed periodic table (includes information about elements such as date of discovery, valency, electronegativity, etc.) that I can hang up in my bedroom.

Granted, but Cesium now does not exist. Thousands of scientists are searching for the missing element and trying to make it with cyclotrons, but in vain. All of this research could have been going into developing new technology like computers and the internet. As a result, we are behind in technology by twenty years.


I wish we were ahead by technology by two hundred years.
