Before you see it though? I like to be surprised ending wise, but have an idea what to expect from the plot.

That is nice, especially when one hasn't heard the soundtrack properly and missed some of the dialogue. This happens with me at times.

I'm busy writing a blog about the scenes from Lord of the Rings which appear in the books but not in the movies. I guess they would have had to make six movies instead of three to cover it all as it's much longer than The Hobbit. There are several dramatic scenes in the books I'd have liked to see on the screen!

I also wrote a blog recently about how I actually rather liked Jar Jar Binks despite him being so unpopular in Star Wars, as he seemed to be on the spectrum with his rather clumsy and naive ways. After he became a Senator he was used by Palpatine to help the Chancellor achieve special powers, but that shows that the trusting Jar Jar was not suited to the intrigues of intergalactic politics, which most of us aren't either!

Yeah, soundtracks can be unclear.

I haven't read LOTR so I wouldn't know what's 'missing' in the movies.

I keep seeing how annoying people find Jar-Jar Binks, but I thought he was funny and cute. And apparently I'm the only person in the world who enjoyed A Phantom Menace. I liked little Anakin and the racing a lot. And the bots.. I like that movie.

Why do other people dislike The Phantom Menace?

We enjoyed it (my partner and I) and don't care whether some other folks might not have liked it. It was well worth watching.

So are all Star Wars films.

Even if I know the ending and have read the plot, it doesn't reveal anything about the picture, sound, music, dialogue, or performances, so that is all still a surprise. That's good enough for me.

Oh, I see. I guess that's the difference between having movies as a special interest and just being interested in the story, as I am. :)

Which trailer did you see? The new Star Wars movie or Finding Nemo 2?

I haven't seen it, but it was the new Star Wars movie. I predict this will be another Billion-dollar Box-office hit.

What do you think would happen if they combined the Star Trek and the Star Wars universe?

Spock would think the Force was fascinating.

Imagine Worf punching a Stormtrooper!

Natalie Portman doesn't know the difference between Star Wars and Star Trek.
