"Uh, yeah, you've seen me do it before, I don't understand why the... hup!"

Lilli sprang over the ladder to the level where Mike was, landing in a crouching position.
"....big ruckus now." they said, looking down at Laura curiously. They tilted their head in a bird-like manner.

Gristle had been kind of curiously examining Sam, trying to figure out what kind of magic it ran on, when suddenly he heard what Laura said. "How the... wait, what?"

"Most of us are just normal people who can't do magic! That's why I'm so suprised!" Laura explained."And how in Hatsune's Misty Terrain did you just skip us and Jian?"

Lilli snorted. "Most of us, yeah, that's what the people back in my kingdom would say. Most of us, meaning the-- what? like five thousand people who don't live in the magic country, as opposed to the five-hundred thousand who do? ...Heh. Bull."

"...Yeah, most of us, like my sis would say. Most of us don't know magic and that's normal, therefore you're a freakand you should hide it and try to be normal. 'Cause denying who you are and pretending to be something you're not is the only way to be happy in life, right?" They spat, though they weren't even looking at Laura anymore.

Mike is slightly startled by Lilli jumping up next to him. "Sounds like an interesting world you came from, if we can take back this station and find your wormhole then I would love to see it."

~Flashback~

Mike and Mason rented a small office acting as MegaWatt headquarters to run their business form and started some crowdfunding campaigns to get everything started. Their first product was a 3D printer that can print with aluminum which was cheap enough that average people could afford it, and it was quite successful. They were able to hire some employees to help design more things and handle advertising and MegaWatt continued to grow.

"Wait, um, no, I meant that... I just thought it was cool and I was just surprised! That's all." She said nervously. "Why does everybody else but me know magic all the sudden?" "Hey, if it makes you feel any better, I don't know magic either, you know that!" Calem pointed out. Laura smiled. "Yeah, I geuss I'm just upset that I wasn't really as important as I thought I was with all this multiverse craziness." Calem looked over his shoulder and down at her, smiling. "Anywhere you are, if your anywhere near me, your important." Laura's cheeks lit up scarlet at his statement. "And your the most powerful Pokemon trainer in our whole world, so that has to mean that your something special." "Actually, I only came in the Top 4 at World's." Laura corrected. "Still, Top 4 out of the 126 people that came, all being the champions of their own regions? I wish I was as good as that, but getting stronger isn't everything to me anymore." Calem encouraged. As soon as they both got up to the next catwalk, they hugged each other lovingly, but Laura's eyes widened, she gave Calem one last squeeze before pulling away and running up to Mike. "We don't have that much more to go, right? And where on Nexus are we supposed to be?" She asked quickly, rerembering that they were in a hurry.

"You know, Lilli...If you ever want to stay in our world for awhile, you're certainly welcome to." Jian smiled amiably. "In our world, everyone is celebrated as being wonderful, so no one there would ever call you a freak."

"Wow, really? Can I see it too?" Laura asked, her eyes glimmering in exitement. "Pretty much all I get back home, aside from my friends and family, is a few, okay, a lot of magazine articles about me. Some are really nice, but others..." She sighed, wondering what everyone was going to say when she got back.

"And Lilli, let me just say this: you're not a freak! Magic, from what you told me, is really, really cool!" She said frantically, still worried that Lilli was mad at her.

"Everyone can come!" Aelkai exclaimed suddenly, and Jian nearly jumped out of her skin in surprise that the young girl was so unexpectedly awake after all.

"You're not a freak, Lily," Guinan said in a soft tone. "I wish I could teleport right about now," she added with a little laugh. Though she was breathing easier now, she was still very tired.

Suddenly, Guinan disappeared and reappeared far below the group. "Who did that? Now I'm all the way down here!" she asked accusingly through their comm link.

"Hey, where's Gunni--" Laura stopped talking and looked down when she heard her through the comm link, and then glared up at Lilli. "That was magic, wasn't it?" She asked flatly.

Sam replies to Laura's question, "We are going to the carrier above us docked to the station hub. Mason is likely there, and we may even be able to hijack fighter ships or something of that nature if we need to."

Mike says "Yeah, what he said." He asks Lilli, "Hey, do you think you could use that teleportation ability to teleport through walls? That would certainly come in handy."

~Flashback~
-[2022]-

Mike gets out of his car to see the new office building Mason had rented for the company and was pleasantly surprised to see that he had already managed to get the MegaWatt logo above the door. He walks in and meets Mason there. "This is a nice place you found." he says, looking around. Mason replies, "Yep, and it's a good deal too." Mason gives Mike a tour of the place and they start talking about other topics.
Mason: "Have you heard about the raising tensions between the U.S. and China? What do you think of that?"
Mike: "I'm usually not too involved in politics, but it does seem rather worrying."
Mason: "In my opinion the U.S. government is handling the situation pretty poorly, they have some troops over there and some threats have been exchanged. Hopefully they can resolve it peacefully."

Once Mike is all settled in his office he continues work on the many calculations and simulations that need to be done for his latest project, a device known within the company as the particle cannon.

"And how much more have we got to go?" She really diddn't want to be annoying, but the anticipation was gettng to her a little.

Mike looks up towards the carrier. "Looks like we got about another 200 meters, we are almost there."

"It wasn't magic!" complained a familiar male voice as Q appeared above the group. "Q!" Guinan protested. She was still against the pillar where she had appeared below them. Q cackled, and Guinan cursed. "We don't have time for your games, Q! Why couldn't you just zap us to where we actually need to go, instead of sending me back down here?"

"You said you wanted to be teleported, Guinan. You didn't specify where," Q replied, cackling again and zapping her once more, above the group this time.

"Go away, Q." Jian stated flatly, and vaguely made a dismissive gesture without even looking in Q's direction.
"No, you go away." Q insisted, and seemed to be waiting for her to disappear. When she failed to do so, Q's expression of puzzlement made Aelkai laugh.

Laura growled at Q, but sounded just as terrifying as a Lv. 5 Shinx. "Can't you see we're trying to do something important here, you meanie!?" She shouted.
