Because you did not make a wish you are now trapped in an infinite time loop from which you will never escape.

I wish the fish at my work didn’t die so easily.

Granted, but then the other coworkers might have to educate themselves.



I wish for a hundred trillion dollars.

Granted but the government now wants two hundred trillion dollars in taxes

I wish there was less light pollution and I could see the stars better.

Granted, and then a friend of yours is arrested for shutting off the power grid.



I wish the solar system were colonized throughout, upon every planet and celestial object which is able to be made inhabitable technologically.

Granted, now there is only one lone person on each planet or celestial made inhabitable by technology and the human race ends in one generation.

I wish id didn't get so bitterly cold in January.

Granted, but now it feels like summer during when it's supposed to be winter and like the surface of the planet Venus for when it is suppose to be summer.



I wish that I had a fleet of airships and sailing ships for a cargo delivery and passenger transport service.

Granted, you have the ships but no crewmen are willing to work them.

I wish I had not have ice cream for breakfast and given myself a stomach ache

Granted, instead you go to a Mexican buffet for breakfast.



I wish that I had an infinite supply of cheeseburgers.

Granted, but the unlimited suppy of cheeseburgers you had made you so overweight that you can barely go anywhere.

I wish to take over all of America's busniesses.

Granted, but as the former executives leave with golden handshakes they make every business you acquire financially unstable and with your lack of experience in running a business almost every business flounders and the ones that don't become super-corporations which are 100 times worse than Wal-mart to work for leading to WWIII.




I wish for a fleet of interstellar dreadnoughts.

granted, but they are for the flea-sized inhabitants of a planet on the far side of the galaxy.



I wish monday gets over quickly.

Granted. You take a nap and now it's Saturday 50 years from now.



I wish I had a massive library, with lots of quiet places to sit and read in peace.

Granted but the library has 10,000 copies of Pride and Prejudice and no other books.

I wish my neighbors wouldn't be so noisy.

Granted, but their kids and pets are 10 times louder then they are.

I wish to take the money and run.

Granted, but outside the bank you run into police with assault rifles.
