Your senses of smell and taste begin to improve within 48 hours of quitting smoking.

the reason you get light-headed from breathing fast is that you lose CO2 and become alkalotic. it has nothing to do with O2. O2, however, IS toxic. premature babies who need high levels of oxygen due to immature lungs often go blind. anyone who lives long enough will get COPD from the long-term toxic effects of O2 on the lungs.

Lighting yourself from different angles can make significant changes to your appearance.

If a person has a cup of tea after having a liver dinner the tanine in the tea will prevent their body from absorbing most of the iron present in the liver they have eaten.

I choose the actor. I observe NT's. I listen to their socializing. I practice it, so in social situations I can just emulate/mimic what is expected.
It isn't natural for me, but it enables me to "fit in".
It is VERY tiring and draining, but at least we can appear like them even though it is an act. Like being on the stage.
They can't see it is emulation, and so we are accepted.

The pyramids weren't used as tombs. They were mainly energy chargers and purifiers.

Before Bob Ross painted 'happy little trees' on PBS for 11 years, he spent 20 years in the US Air Force as "the guy who makes you scrub the latrine, the guy who makes you make your bed, the guy who screams at you for being late to work."
He also said of it, “The job requires you to be a mean, tough person, and I was fed up with it.”

To top this all off, here's what he looked like during his Air Force days:

He looked like either Rick Astley or Johnny Cash. XD

the forces across a capillary membrane are called starling forces. on the arterial side, hydrostatic pressure predominates and water and ions are filtered out. on the venule side, osmotic pressure predominates and stuff reenters.

Whiskers are extremely important to help cats maneuver and explore their environment.

Whale milk has the consistency of soft cream cheese. Important for a species that nurses underwater.

Elephants have a favored tusk that they will use more than their other one. It can be very noticeable in old elephants where the favored tusk is more worn down that the other. This is like the left/right hand dominance in humans.

Human's and gibbons are the only apes where monogamy is the norm rather than the exception.

Humans are the only animals (aside from the more oddly shaped dog breeds) to have trouble giving birth.

Frankenstein author Mary Shelley kept her dead husband’s heart and carried it with her for almost 30 years until she died in 1851. It was found in a desk drawer a year later, wrapped in a copy of one of his final poems.

The Windows NTFS file system - or Explorer - is broken in so many ways when trying to transfer more than say, 30k files. Or a few gigantic files. And it is terribly inefficient if a folder has more than 3k similar named files due to 8.3 backwards compatibility being handled in a brain dead way.

Also, I have a nasty headache and do not have the patience for tech that doesn't work today.
