At this rate I'm going to have to start making up some excuse for why so many interdimensional travelers are ending up at this place and time. One is no problem, two is a long shot, but any more needs an explanation. I will work on that.

Sam interrupts the conversation. "Hey, Mike? Your not going to believe this, but I detected another spacial disturbance consistant with a wormhole opening."
Mike: "What?! We have explored the multiverse for years without finding another interdimensional traveler until Lilli showed up, and now there's another one here? Where are they?"
Sam: "Literally just outside the house. I can even detect the traveler's heat signature and they appear to be human."
Mike: "I don't believe this. I have to go check this out."

Mike goes outside to see a young looking girl who seems quite upset about something. "Hello, let me guess; your not exactly from here."

(OOC) ROFL, luckily, Guinan and Q have their own explanation. The whole thing is pretty ridiculous anyway, so I figured, why not?

Also, not sure where we are in time: before or after Lily's return home, since Lily's player didn't say whether she had or hadn't noticed Guinan's arrival I figure maybe after?

BIC:
"Not exactly," the girl, Guinan, replied, calming down a bit. "Q sent me here. He's playing his games again. He gave me this." She holds up the pokeball and continues, "He says I have some sort of battle to fight, and that's all. If you're not from here, then, did Q send you here too? That would be just like him."

Laura darted out of her room, peeking outside through the blinds. "Oh my Arceus..." She whispered, "another one?" Anna galoped down the stairs, running against her leg. Lilli was standing there, grinning like an idiot, holding a pokeball. But Laura was too busy to notice, since she was watching the others. "Caaaallemmm!" Laura shouted. "Could you come here?" He hopped off of the windowsill and calmly walked downstairs."what is it?" He asked. She motioned her hand for him to have a look.

"Who the heck is Q? No, I'm here from the Nexus wormhole station orbiting Jupiter in an alternate Sol system. It was constructed by the Solar Alliance to create and maintain wormholes for the purpose of peaceful exploration."

Guinan considers for a moment. "Jupiter, that's in Earth's solar system but I don't remember an alliance there. Q must've messed with my timeline or..." She shrugs. "Well, at this point it doesn't matter. Q is an omnipotent being who enjoys messing with spacetime and the lives of species across the universe. Even if you contact the station, assuming you can still contact them at all, Q will prevent me from leaving here until I go through with the rest of his little game." She holds out a hand. "I'm Guinan by the way. I could tell you where I'm from, but I'm sure you've never heard of us. I could also tell you why I look like a little girl, but that's a long story." Upon hearing the commotion from the house, her eyes dart in that direction.

Two kids, a boy and a girl, were peeking out the window. "Who is she..?" The boy asked. "She looks pretty." The girl said. A sylveon picked up ome of the binds and looked out.

Mike shakes Guinan's hand. She could see that his left arm is robotic below the elbow, and it's clear that he has a few things in the inside pockets of his lab coat. "Hello Guinan, I'm Mike and this is my assistant bot Sam. The reason you have never heard of the Solar Alliance is because there are multiple Sol systems, the universe is infinite and so things eventually repeat and also the temporal multiverse has a lot of interesting variations of everything. What 'little game' is Q having you play? I may be able to help with that."

Xanmal snaps awake, that dream had been so vivid... wait, where is this place? what is this blue and yellow dog-like creature in front of him? He attempted to stand up, but a electric shock came from the blue and yellow dog looking thing. PAIN is all Xanmal thought as he collapsed on the ground again.

Guinan nods. "Q would have no problem with mucking up the multiverse also for his own personal amusement. The starship I serve on, the Enterprise, he loves messing with us especially. Since I'm a kid again now, and Q didn't fix that, maybe I'm here to play some kind of kid's game." She glances toward the house again. "But he said something about a battle, andh he said I'll need this." She taps the pokeball.

(OOC) Wondering what will happen when Lily moves again. Will she come outside or try to get Laura and her friend to notice her? Also, is Xanmal anywhere nearby, and what does Xanmal look like?

Mike looks intrigued. "Starship, huh? In the universe I'm from we have a few of those, only 3 have arrived at their destinations though. Oh, and about that ball, they can apparently be used to capture some of the crazy native animals that can be trained to battle. The folks staring at you over there say that they used some to take down an organization bent on destroying this Earth. Perhaps that's what Q wants you to do."

You seem to be using characters from Star Trek, in which case the technology in Mike's universe is inferior to the technology that Guinan is used to.

OOC: While we're waiting for other characters, I figured I'd clarify that, aside from the pokeball, Guinan isn't holding anything. She has no visible technology or weapons either, though she does have some skill in fencing. Whatever she does, it'll have to be with the tech, weapons, and pokemon of this world. At this point, she doesn't even know how to access the pokeball, so you might imagine the delight of the playfully omnipotent, sometimes heartless Q, watching her stumble and fumble her way through as a twelve-year-old girl. In Star Trek, Guinan is hundreds of years old and very wise. She also has childlike qualities, including an imaginary friend and a whole episode where she's a kid again, literally. Star Trek definitely has its silly moments, so I figured, what the heck? Let's see how she does with the Pokemon.

Calem looked at Laura blankly, while she watched Gunnian. "Ack! He saw us! She said in a hushed whisper. Oh Laura, what would I do without your antics... he thought, rolling his grey eyes and smiling. Laura squirmed and blushed when she saw him watching her. "What are you looking at...?" He shook his head and focused his attention back to Gunnian. Anna nestled herself in Laura's lap, and went back to sleep. Laura and Calem watched the two outside in an awkward silence.

Outside, Guinan frowns slightly to Mike. "A new starship program then? Are the ships on their way to their destinations or, or did something happen to them?"
(OOC) If no one in the house is coming outside, then I'll try and rap up the conversation to go knock on the door. And there's still Lily with her cool new pokemon to show off.

"W-Well, we might as well go talk to her." She stamered, dropping the blind she was looking throughand ran outside. Calem went after her. "Hi! I'm Laura! Woow, your a Trainer too?" She asked, assuming she was because of the pokeball. Calem sighed, saying the translation.

(Calem knows English because he moved from another region.)

"The star ships are still traveling, they can go nearly 20% the speed of light-" Mike is interrupted by Laura and Calem, so he steps out of the way and lets them talk to Guinan.

Will Q prevent Mike from opening the wormhole, or will he just prevent Guinan from passing through it?
