Really?

Can't be true now that I think of it; there was a TV show called Creepy Canada which was on a few years ago...

When I think of Canada I think of a laid back lifestyle, huge distances over roads stretching for thousands of kilometres across the prairies, and the wide unpopulated spaces of the Yukon and Nunavat.

The first settlers, whoever they were, found Canada mostly uninhabited, hence they inferred that there couldn't be ghosts. They thought nobody ever had died there.

^^ Canadianhood is an interesting thing. It is a young country (formally). Three of my grandparents were immigrants. The other line came here fleeing the American Revolution. I’ve had a pretty good life here.
