Autism is caused by the purchase, play, watching, or knowing of Super Mario Brothers 3.
Each repurchase counts as a further inoculation of Autisim, so if you bought the original cartridge, bought Super Mario All Stars, bought Super Mario Advanced 4, and then purchased it again on the Virtual Console, you would have four times the autism than most.
