Heaven knows what he thought he'd accomplish by his actions. I don't think he'll be out in a very long time, as hopefully he'll be seen as a threat to society. Social isolation... prison isn't meant to be a holiday. I have no sympathy for the likes of him. If you don't wanna do the time, don't do the crime. It sickens me how much focus is on the perpetrators rather than the victims. It's a trend in society these days, and it doesn't sit well with me. It reminds me of a joke I saw once where a psychologist is looking at the victim of a very violent crime and says: "Whoever did this really needs help". Yeah never mind the victim.

He probably gets really lonely in there, but he deserves a much more severe punishment. Such as life in a real prison, or death by lethal injection. The latter seems fair, his life in exchange for 77 others.

He has actually complained about being isolated. Yeah, maybe he shouldn't have killed all those people! TBH I wish Norway did have capital punishment for crimes of that nature. I know it's a controversial topic that will upset some people, so I think we need to change the subject soon before anyone complains. I will say this though, the general punishment in Norway is a joke. The average jail time for murder is 8 years. And don't get me started on what I think of our sell out politicians
