Wolverines store their food, and in fact use snow as a refrigerator to keep their food fresh.

newplast is aardman's preferred moldable medium, apparently being superior to plasticine.

(WARNING: May be NSFW-ish)
Peeing in the shower is good for the planet. Urine is sterile and nontoxic, so peeing while you wash yourself actually saves you from wasting the gallons of water it takes to flush the toilet and reduces toilet paper usage.

-Sahara, Gracie, and Katrina are all male characters in the Japanese version of Animal Crossing. They were changed to girls in the North American version due to their feminine appearance.

-Mario's (Jumpman's) girlfriend in Donkey Kong was once only referred to as "the lady" in the original arcade game. She was later named Pauline, which was a common name for the damsel in distress in old B&W movies. Even so, Mario has never had to rescue her from being tied to railroad tracks.

-Tomatoes were once used only as ornamental plants in the US because people thought the fruit was toxic due to it being in the same family as deadly nightshade. Thomas Jefferson ate tomatoes while in Paris and sent some seeds to the US, which may be what made people decide to start eating them.

-Captain Kirk never actually said "Beam me up, Scotty".

-Many types of beans, such as kidney and Lima beans, are poisonous, sometimes fatally so, if eaten raw. This is one of the reasons I don't want to eat homemade baked beans, because I'm scared they're not fully cooked.

-The Seven Dwarfs did not have names or personalities in the original story of Snow White. They were given their famous names by the Disney Company.

-Walt Disney was probably no more antisemitic or racist than most Americans during the time.

-H.P. Lovecraft was very antisemitic, yet he got married to a Jewish woman. Even afterwards he would still say bad things about Jewish people, then be gently reminded by his wife whom he slept with.

-Walt Disney was a heavy smoker and died of lung cancer.

-Sigmund Freud died of mouth cancer. He smoked a lot of cigars.

One of my favourite funny facts...
Jeanne Louise Calment (21 February 1875 – 4 August 1997) was a French supercentenarian who has the longest confirmed human lifespan on record, living to the age of 122 years, 164 days.
In 1965, at age 90 and with no heirs, Calment signed a deal to sell her apartment to lawyer André-François Raffray, on a contingency contract. Raffray, then aged 47 years, agreed to pay her a monthly sum of 2,500 francs (€381.12) until she died. Raffray ended up paying Calment the equivalent of more than €140,000 which was more than double the apartment's value. After Raffray's death from cancer at the age of 77, in 1995, his widow continued the payments until Calment's death. During all these years, Calment used to say to them that she "competed with Methuselah".

The holes in a Pop-Tart prevent steam from making it a soggy mess as it cooks.

The street sign for Horneytown, NC, is stolen so often that police had to install RFID and GPS tracking, along with an additional warning sign for would-be thieves. ‘Horneytown’ is the most stolen sign in the USA, with 'Rolling Green’ coming in at a distant second. (Now why would Rolling Green earn that second-place distinction?)

Julia Stewart was a waitress at IHOP when she was 16, eventually working her way up through many jobs to become president at Applebees. After being passed over for CEO, she left Applebees, returned to IHOP and became CEO, then later acquired Applebees.

there are many drugs for type 2 diabetes: sulfonureas, biguanides, glitazones, incretin mimetics (gliptins and tides), alpha glucosidase inhibitors, glitinides, and also those new-fangled drugs that make you pee out sugar (gliflozins).

The vast majority of Pension plans in the world are on the verge of insolvency, virtually all are severely underfunded.
Most pensioners will have their pensions slashed within the next few years. Millions will lose it entirely.

407 000 just recently in the USA alone. It has begun.

There are 2.9 million square miles (7.5 million square kilometers) in the United States that are uninhabited; which equals to about less than half of the nation (47%), including Alaska and Hawaii.

That's impossible.

The land area of the whole U.S.A. is only 3.8 million square miles. There cant be that much unihabited land, and if there were that much then it would be a lot more than just 47 percent of the total ( its almost ALL of the total US).
