No, I didn't notice any pattern to your shots other than the occasional 3 in a row (like when playing Tic Tac Toe). I was too busy planning my own moves

Guess what, guys? I learned something neat about Fire Emblem Fates recently. You know how you can pet your Pokemon in Amie? If your wife/husband is asleep when you go to your room in Fates, you can pat them on the head or pet their cheek to gently wake him/her up! I just found that cute.

It's always nice when you can get particular interaction with the important characters in a game.

I was doing diagonal patterns in my attacks that can come up in the shape of an 'X'. It covers more ground with fewer shots.

^^I think you can do the same if your character has children, but I'm not so sure. Here's a picture of your character's child [male on the left and female on the right]:
Oh, and I've also learned that you can invite any character to your room for tea and conversation, and each event is different for each character!

That's a really nice feature!
I also like that the child is the same (same colors etc) regardless of whether it's a boy or a girl. It was the same in one of my faves, Rune Factory 2. I wish the option doing things like petting the cheek of one's spouse's or specific interactions with specific characters were available in more games. Touches like that are nice, I think.

^^Agreed. In RF4, the character's child is dressed in blue for a boy and pink for a girl. Grr! Oh well. They're both adorable anyway.

Plus, in Fates, there's two gay options, and once you beat RF4, you can change your character to look like anyone in the town, so you can go for a gay option there as well [I've decided to play as a girl and marry Amber:
