Isn't it a little early for Valentine to drop by, Sylkat? The chocolates won't be ready!

Has he also become hasty like so many folk today?

Must be the advent of technology! He used to have to deliver snail mail letters which took weeks, just like Santa.

Now they're so used to zipping stuff off early per email and mobile messaging that everything happens before time!

I think that wishing Krabo Happy Valentine's Day early will give him time to bake many, many cookies for us.

Or cupcakes with pink frosting.......cupcakes would be very nice.

How will we keep them fresh if he bakes them now?

Actually don't mention cupcakes: I made some yesterday and forgot to add the milk so they came out dry! Perhaps they can be be resuscitated to use in a trifle.

I ate the icing.... (sorry, frosting)

I'll admit, I've been really getting into baking channels on YouTube lately, especially cakes. They come up with some really interesting ideas.

Yes they do. I also find quite a lot of good recipes online.

By the way has NZ decided on a new flag yet? When will the finalists be selected?

They've already had the first referendum to choose a candidate to go against the current flag (click image to enlarge):



The second referendum will be held from 3–24 March this year, to decide whether or not to keep the current one. Opinion polls show a majority of NZers preferring the current flag over this or any of the other new designs.

I propose a design consisting of a Giant Weta wearing a cowboy hat, embroidered in gold on deep violet velvet.

syzygyish, when Krabo isn't here, we love him by thinking and talking about him, and reminiscing about the good times we have had in the past.

Perhaps we could add a crab to the flag we are designing?
