I blame you for having harbored wishes to be a tour guide in a Moomin Museum anyway, and just needed an excuse to end your current boring employment.

I blame you for being completely and utterly correct. Gotta go though, lunchtime (or what we laughingly get for lunchtime) is over.

Your fault that I cannot get to sleep.

When I do, I shall probably dream of hordes of Finnish Viking Krabs trying to pillage a Moomin Museum, and stealing all of the Moomin-shaped cookies.

You started the story about the Finnish Viking Krabs, and you also brought up the Moomin museum (I was just planning on sitting in a hammock sipping Piña Coladas).

Any nightmares are your fault.

Now I must go to all the trouble of banning a Blue Crab who is turning green..just because of a bit of coconut milk.

If anything would turn Mr Blue Crab green, it'd be the yellow pineapple juice.

(It's your fault that there's no such thing as [colour] tags, spelled with a "u". :( )

It's your fault if you tried a dozen times to force in the [colour] tag and banged your keyboard with a hammer as a sign of utter frustration.

I did not have to get up until 8.30am this morning. The hay man decided it would be a good idea to cut the hay in the paddock next door at 6.15am.

I blame you entirely for my lost sleep in.

Remedy. Your fault if the idea never occurred to you.

I know I live in the wilds, but that seems maybe.....a little extreme?

At least I don't have to help stack the hay today, I managed to find a prior arrangement. 8)

It is however your fault that I had to stack the last 800 bales.

The expression "the last 800 bales" implies there are some 2000 bales counting all. Now, you didn't specify what shape the bales are. I assume they are not rolled but square, some 1-2 cubic meters each. Mmm... 4000 cubic meters... cube with 16-meter edges.

You are to blame if my reasoning fails.

You forgot that 'last' can be a euphemism for 'the last lot', being interchangeable with 'the previous batch', which was a total of 800 (give or take), and which I did indeed stack.

The bales are the small rectangle ones, of 1-2 cubic metres, and weighing 20-30kg each.

I don't know where you got the number 2000 from (unless I told you about last year and then forgot), and I am certainly not going to try to calculate the volume, length of edges, or indeed π at this time of night.

Every time I play hockey I appear to get more stupid. I blame you.

I blame you for the false belief that π would be needed when counting hay. (Unless when you are literally counting separate straws which I believe is not the case at hand.)

Did you mean the 2000 was close to correct? Wow! I just guessed, honest! We haven't been discussing you hay bales before. And I have no idea how we got into it now.

Maybe I am stacking the bales in a round formation, in which case π would be useful. Your fault if you didn't think of that.

Yes, last year we had 2471 bales. It was a nightmare. Never again.
And I never know how we end up on random subjects. I could look back, but where's the fun in that?

Well, hay bales are kind of cute, aren't they? 8)

Unless when you stack them, of course. It's your fault that I have to recommend hired hands.
