The next time a cop pulls you over for speeding tell the officer to mind his or her own business.

Agree to be interviewed about women and autism, despite the fact you're mute and you haven't slept.

Emotionally unstable? Mental health problems? Have children!

(That's actual advice I got from my mother... She really believed it would solve my problems 8O )

For some problems I've heard it works e.g. Myalgic Encephalomyelitis ( autoimmune diseases can be helped by hormones found in pregnancy ).

But then the pregnancy hormones are gone and you have to raise a child... still having your mental health issues.

My mom had five, too. Figuring out that she was probably aspie, my entire understanding of her life and problems changed. It was humbling and I beg her forgiveness in heaven. I was not an easy child and neither were my siblings.

If you're feeling depressed because you're about to turn a year older, take a nice relaxing bath with a plugged-in toaster. If you survive the electric shock, you'll realize how lucky you are that you're going to turn a year older.
