a site dedicated to Pokemon; you can hatch eggs, level up Pokemon, participate in events etc, but it's only on that site, not with the Pokemon you have in games.

Kyle, shinies are rare Pokemon with colors that differ from the norm. Shiny Pokemon is a term made by fans referring to the sparkling sound effect and animation made at the start of an encounter with one in the games. One example would be the red Gyarados from the Lake of Rage in Silver and Gold.

Cool. How about a green Charizard? Or maybe a yellow Bulbasaur?

Actually the appearances of the Pokemon is set in the games, but in theory they could be any color they usually aren't. If Pokemon were real, there's no reason there would be only one rare coloration of each species.

All the colors of the rainbow, then?

Maybe. Probably not in one single Pokemon though!

Yeah, that's true. I think Xerneas is the only one so far.

I like how in Black and White you deal with Team Plasma after beating the Elite Four instead of just before the 8th gym. It would have been nice if they did the same thing in X and Y with Team Flare.

I also wish there was more to do afterwards, period. Black and White had Black City and White Forest, which was nice, and ORAS have the Battle resort where you can at least battle strong trainers and get EXP. But I think it'd be awesome if they added a few more small events, like the Delta Episode in ORAS.

I didn't know that. I thought it was pronounced as it's written. I know. Every time I see one of his posts I'm startled and think it's me and think "but I never made a thread like that!"

I listened to the Pokemon Pearl/Diamond soundtrack today while washing the dishes. Ah, nostalgia! I could name every single track and when each of them plays.
