The following is the history I typed up for the history of my country. The Eastern European Federation. I'm posting it to say what everyone else thinks. My TAG (Talented and Gifted) teacher liked it a lot. Sorry for the huge spaces that are spaced everynow and then. I clicked the Tab key twice per new paragraph on word and I'm too lazy to close the gaps.

EDIT: No double space now I don't think. So there is no paragraph coherency.
_______________________________________________________________________________
In around the 1970’s through the 1980’s, eastern bloc countries were starting to resist the Soviet Union. There was revolution. Blood shed. And much damage to cities and many other places. But through the tumultuous times of the 80’s, a man rose up from the ashes of the city of Kiev. He spread word of a vision. A vision of a country where no one is hungry. Where there is no crime. A wonderful place where everyone can get a job. Where people have ample money and good lives. He told a few people of his vision. Those people told others, and those people told some more people of this vision and so on until many people in the area around Kiev and outside of it had knowledge of this vision and wanted to bring this dream to reality. In 1982 these people formed the predecessor of the E.E.F, the Eastern European Federation. The group was the United Forces of Eastern Europe, the U.F.E.E. The leader and the person that had the vision was Yevgeny Solokov. This faction was weak when it first started so it quickly went into hiding. During the time of hiding, they recruited thousands of members, acquired thousands of bullets, rockets, vehicles, and other tools with which to have this vision come about. Then came the winter of 1985. After about three years of preparing for the battles that would be necessary to form the E.E.F, The U.F.E.E. launched attacks on the cities of Warsaw, Kursk, Volgograd, Riga, and Tallinn just to name a few. The fighting was fierce as soldiers from different factions fought each other. In the cities and their surrounding areas, screams and cries of the wounded and dying could be heard. Bodies littered the ground and the environments the soldiers were fighting in slowly but surely fell apart. For months battles went on in these cities and their surrounding areas. The death toll kept rising up every second and countries like Germany, England, and the United States just watched the horrors of war unfold in Eastern Europe. Eventually, the U.F.E.E won control of the areas it attacked and they won a short reprieve from the fighting in the summer of 1987. However, it was weak and battered from the months of war. Surrounded on all sides, the U.F.E.E. became more and more desperate as they started to lose territory. They lost more and more people and land. In a last ditch effort, the U.F.E.E. sent a small special operations squad that specialized in going behind enemy lines to complete various objectives. The squad’s mission: to procure WMD’s from an old decrepit arsenal left untouched since 1969. They managed to succeed in their quest and brought back the weapons to Kiev, the home of the U.F.E.E. In the fall of 1987, WMD’s were launched against the bases of the other factions, while at the same time, the remaining U.F.E.E forces mustered a last stand. The forces of the U.F.E.E. fought enemy forces and more and more people died on both sides. The fighting went on for two hours and when two hours passed, the WMD’s launched from missile silos hit their target. The enemy forces were then given word that their leaders were dead. Already demoralized, the enemies surrendered as they saw that they couldn’t win. And thus victory was achieved by the U.F.E.E. They quickly established a government in Kiev and the new nation quickly started to thrive. They also changed the name from the U.F.E.E. to the E.E.F. Many policies were made and the welfare of people sharply increased in Eastern Europe which was pretty much the area of the country. Many technological advancements were made in science, medicine, engineering, and a multitude of other areas. In the year 2024, the leader of the country, Yevgeny Solokov, passed away. There was much grieving for the first leader of the E.E.F. and many other countries grieved with the country for Yevgeny Solokov helped a lot of third world countries and countries that needed help somehow. A few months after the death, a new leader was elected, he was from a foreign country, but had lived in the E.E.F for over 10 years and had government experience. But some extremists opposed his election and launched a huge terrorist attack upon cities all over the E.E.F. Immediately, the new leader improved security, made the laws very strict and changed a law in a way so that he could have full control over what the government could do. He said this was for security and for the safety of the people. And believe it or not the safety did increase, but freedoms went down. Government control increased over a period of five years but then something happened which was good and also put a stop to the government for a time. In 2030, a meteorite crashed down into an empty wasteland near the city of Sarajevo. Around it there were crystals of an unknown origin growing around the meteor. A few were taken to a lab for study and it had many minerals that were considered valuable and a few that were unknown. The scientists also got a soil sample from the ground the crystals were growing in and they were devoid of minerals. It was discovered that the crystals absorbed the minerals in the soil it was in! The crystals continued to expand and meanwhile, vehicles were made to harvest the crystalline materials and buildings were built to refine the crystals into a useable source. A year later harvesters and refineries started to pop up wherever there was the crystal, which was called Saranium, for it’s proximity to Sarajevo. The country started to gets its power from Saranium, started to use Saranium to back its money, and started to use it for various uses in the military. Then came the year 2033. In that year, it was discovered that Saranium was changing the environment in the E.E.F, and that it proved toxic to human life and that it was expanding more and more rapidly. To combat that, the government had a lot of people move to cold areas because the crystal’s growth slowed down in cold areas and walls that would keep the crystal or anything from the crystals from getting inside were built around cities. By that time, the government had the technology to produce ships that could move at the speed of light so a bunch of ships were built and they left the solar system for Alpha Centauri to build a space colony. This would be good because in case something bad happens to the country or world, people could always leave for the colony. Now is the current year, 2042. Most of the outside areas are wastelands, but some areas are untouched by Saranium and the military still has many bases outside the cities. But civilians are not usually allowed outside anymore. Now in areas that were tainted by Saranium first are starting to look vastly different. Mutated plant and animal life is appearing, the land look different, and every now and then, huge towering crystalline structures can be seen towering over the landscape. But life inside the cities is still being good. The E.E.F. is still combating and using Saranium and there are talks of a resistance movement and talks of rebellion but the government will probably not falter against it and the Alpha Centauri colony is faring well.

When I pasted it, it did something to the post that took away in spaces between the paragraphs. Sorry about that.

I don't think that I'll get a very good grade for my 3D map for the create a country project. We have to make the 3D map ourselves and we can use whatever materials we want and I'm not that good with things were you make something yourself. It usually ends up looking like crap.
