Your Result: Death Metal
Growl away, you are brutal and anti establishment, you love to f--- with peoples minds by singing about everything from rape and murder to your own personal hell

Sweet, my favourite type of metal.

Black metal
You are the evil of the evil, you have pride in your home country (possibly norway) and you love to sing about killing christians, pagan gods and burning churches...oh and you love wearing make up...not that you're gay or anything

I do really like black metal and its aesthetics.
But I suppose I like "gothic" metal a bit more. Or at least I've listened to it more lately. Gothic metal as in Trail of Tears, Cradle of Filth and such.

I like all sorts of metal: Slayer, Metallica, Sabbath, Maiden, Sunn 0))), Pantera, Venom, Carcass, Napalm Death, Anthrax, Megadeth etc.

I'm also really into folk/pagan/celtic metal bands like Cruachan, Finntroll, Alestorm etc.

not a fan of nu metal, I had a nu metal phase in my teens

what metal genre are you?
Your Result: Classic Metal
The type that started it all!, Dark bluesy rock combined with wailing vocals and even some new fretwork, original uncompromising and daring this is what metal was all about and in essence still is.

I do listen to a lot of classic metal.
