You scored a total of 71

It is highly likely that you are presently suffering from adult attention deficit disorder, according to your responses on this self-report questionnaire. You should not take this as a diagnosis of any sort, or a recommendation for treatment. However, it would be advisable and likely beneficial for you to seek further diagnosis from a trained mental health professional immediately.

I didn't need a quiz to tell me how bad it is... my job lets me know every day. Sigh.

Funny, i thought it would be higher. I have the feeling this test is geared a lot towards detecting the hyperactive variant while mine is in fact the combined type. Hyperactivity is not so obviously present so the questions pertaining to that element dont score very high with me.

I think the fact that I was able to get through the quiz successfully means that I'm not too bad ;)

I was diagnosed with ADHD several years ago, though, so I'm not too surprised.

103.

On a side note when I was 5 I was tested for adhd and the report states the test is inconclusive because I could not finish the test. I still have a copy of it. It also states that I constantly repeted "why is it going so fast" to myself and started punching the monitor.

Like many other Aspies, My first diagnosis was ADHD. It wasn't specific enough because of my inability to communicate with others, which lead me to a further diagnosis of an ASD. Yet I still might have some in me. I'm always on the go, daydream alot, and at times, I move my hands and feet while sitting.

Mild ADHD Inattentive, moderate central auditory processing disorder, mild dyspraxia. Auditorily very easily distractible (involuntary), very short (involuntary) attention span which changes four times a minute, noticeable glitch in working memory which impacts digit span/letter span (working with math with many digits, spelling long words), imperfect ability to sustain normal attention. A FDA approved med works for me a little (not a cure); if I did not use the mild stimulant medicine, I would not be able to concentrate adequately to read or post to WP at all.

You appear to experiencing some type of attention and concentration problems which are often common amongst the general population, but border on the possibility of being more severe. It is unclear as to whether you suffer these problems severely enough to need to seek further diagnosis and treatment of them. You should not take your responses to this self-report questionnaire as a diagnosis or recommendation for treatment of any sort. Consult with a trained mental health professional if you are experiencing difficulties in your daily functioning that you are worried about.
