Sometimes I dip what's left of french fries into ice-cream. Like a McFlurry or BK's equivilent. I quite like the salt vs. the sweet thing. 8)

- When I was in high school I was a gymnast. Parralel bars were my event.
- I've seen a lot of concerts but I think my biggest pride and joy was seeing Queen in 1982.
- I once lived for four days in a forest by a reservoir.
- Twice I rode my bike from NYC to upstate NY. Each trip took two days and I slept at night in a hammock strung between trees.
- I've once went off a cliff in a taxi I was driving in the snow; luckily, the car got wedge between two trees, breaking its descent.
- My favourite movies are horror, the more extreme the better.
- I've been homeless in NY, LA, Nashville, Rhode Island and Seattle.
- The only countries I've been to in my life are Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, the U.S. and Canada.
- The boyfriends I've had in my life were of two principal varieties - Irish and Vietnamese.
- I'm a published author and have written novels, short stories, screenplays and poems.
- I've also played in bands and have released a few albums.

That sounds amazing.

1) How did you find living in the forest?

2) How did you get out of that car?

Western North Carolina is gorgeous beyond description.

You got THAT right----my family is from western North Carolina (Asheville)----as you know, the heart of the Blue Ridge mountains----absolutely breathtaking----that's why I'm so in-love with mountains, to this day. The only mountains comparable, are the Swiss Alps. I walked to a clearing in the trees, while visiting Germany, looked-over and saw the Alps, and I, for the first time in my life, learned the definition of the word "awe".

Wow, that's some life you've had there, redrobin62!! ! I've always wanted to write a book----I've been writing since I was a little kid----plays, short stories, poetry.....

I've seen the Swiss Alps, as well, Campin_Cat, so I know exactly what you mean. Their magnificence left me almost speechless!

I can't seem to link to images, for some reason. My HTML always says "off" even when I tick the right box in the settings. :(

Anyway, I uploaded a few images on Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/125279115@N02/?details=1

WOW, VegetableMan, I needn't bother looking for MY pics----your pics put MINE to SHAME!! ! GOOD JOB!! !

Regarding HTML: It's turned-off on this site----you can either push the "Link" icon (top of posting box where the "bold" and "underline" are----second from far left), OR just copy and paste each picture's address----making sure to include http://, as you just did----OR, click on the third button from left (it has a mountain on it!! !).

Thank you, Campin Cat, for both he compliment and the technical information. I tried the "insert image" thingie, but it didn't work -- at least my image didn't show up in the preview, anyway.

I once interviewed Arthur Scargill, the "legendary" UK Mineworkers Union Leader.
