(green bricks ?)

Never! And still wrong. This riddle is better verbalized rather than written. I'll rewrite it and see if that doesn't help.

"There was a white house with white bricks, a red house with red bricks, and a blue house with blue bricks. What color bricks did the greenhouse have?"

The riddle there I heard went like this:

"A white house is made of white bricks; a red house is made of red bricks; a blue house is made of blue bricks; What is a green house made of?"

Well, that is the same as the one I'm asking. So, do you have the answer?

It was made of glass.

Yes, I just finished reading book 3. I probably shouldn't have commited copyright infringement but I couldn't think of anything else at the time...actually I quess I would've READ it somewhere since it's a book.

This one I've made up on the fly...

I am the last ones in the Ultimate Illusion....

My first was the essence of entropy from four....

My second went to Hell and back...

My third was a dark cloud that manipulated all...

My fourth was the no-mass creature of hate....

My fifth was any number of demises....

My sixth was a deranged existentialist of Metamorphosis....

My seventh is a lame angel....

My eighth is "a witch in time, saves nine"...

My ninth is a potential tyrant who wished to end all existence when he thought his would end....

My tenth is the embodiment of mankind's crimes against divinity....

My eleventh are multiples that may never end....

My twelfth is a vain man of power, merged with a ship of the sky....

I am the last ones in the Ultimate Illusion....

Hmm, what series had twelve books ??

It's not the 'Amber' books by Zelazny.

You said Dark Tower only had seven.

Hmmm, must reference 'witch in nine' ....

You'll be annoyed when you find out.

Fine, some clues....

The first, entropy, can be called disorder. What's another name for disorder?
The fifth has any number (X) of demises...
The sixth, well, who wrote Metamorphosis?

That's all I'm prepared to give.

If it ain't solved by....

Hmmm....

5pm my time...

(That's about 8 and a half hours away)

I'll reveal all....

I'm annoyed now... :)

But really the only clue you gave was that were you refering to the BOOK by Kafka rather than the Rolling Stones album or the Escher print...unless, well, does it have anything to do with Houdini? Wasn't his magic trick with the locked box and the magician trades places with the assistant locked inside? Hmm...but that would have nothing to do with chaos/disorder/entropy although it would reference the illusion bit.

Or...is Dr. Who? No...there are only ten of those.

Kafka!! But think about the number six, and Kafka.
