Anime
Manga
Sushi
Bowing to others in greeting, which is much better than shaking hands and spreading germs imo.
Kappas
Godzilla
Pokemon
Hello Kitty. most people outside of Asia think she's Japanese for obvious reasons, but according to her backstory she lives in London England. I even read somewhere she's not even really supposed to be a cat. She's, well, a girl.
Always being colorful, quirky and alive. Not dull and boring like where I live.
The bombing of Hiroshima.
Crowded conditions
People wearing masks when they have a cold or flu
Weird and amusing superstitions, like sneezing for no obvious reason means someone, somewhere, is gossiping about you.
Kawaii!
Putting five fingers on characters' hands instead of four, even if they are "cartoony" looking, because there's some kind of Japanese mafia where they chop people's fingers off. Sometimes they even add extra fingers to western characters that normally have four, but I think they're okay with Mickey Mouse.
Sumo wrestlers
Vending machines that sell practically everything, and they're everywhere so you don't even have to go into a store to buy stuff.
People calling any sweet, non-alcoholic fizzy beverage "juice", instead of "pop" or "soda", even when there's nothing close to fruits and/or vegetables in it. Apparently it's supposed to be a kid's beverage, kind of like Kool-aid, but teens and adults often drink it anyway.
Ninjas
Stereotypes like all Japanese people being Ninjas or knowing at least some other kind of martial arts.
Nudity, sexual themes, violence and death not being that big of a deal in animation and video games, unlike American society.
And yet, they censor violence or sexual themes in games made outside of Japan, even though the games are targeted towards adult players and have realistic-looking adult characters committing such acts, while it's perfectly acceptable for their own games to show anime-style 8-year-old-looking girls being barely clothed and in compromising positions. Seriously, what the hey?
Seeing the "man of the moon" as a rabbit. That is why Sailor Moon's Japanese name "Usagi", meaning rabbit, is a bit of a pun.
The two most hated vegetables being carrots and bell peppers. A lot of anime characters really hate them. But they really like broccoli and don't get why it's so hated in western society. So in the movie Inside Out they changed any images of broccoli to green peppers. But I like broccoli *and* carrots. I think most western people just haven't eaten broccoli that's been cooked right, where instead of cooking until it's still bright green and is tender but still firm they boil it until it turns into a greyish mush and tastes gross.
Also one of the minor characters being changed from a moose to a tanooki.
The fact that I might never have known what a tanooki is if it wasn't for their games like Super Mario 3 and Animal Crossing.
Baseball being a popular sport.
People celebrating Christmas, even if they aren't Christian. They don't really care if they aren't, they just see it as a fun and romantic holiday. People over here could learn from that.
