Chris Morris (writer/producer of Brass Eye, The Day Today, Blue Jam - all UK shows)

He's the only one that comes to mind from modern times who's had anything like the impact of Swift's "Modest Proposal" - to the point of having politicians here asking serious questions in the House of Commons about completely invented moral outrages. His skits about visiting the doctor in Blue Jam have me almost wetting myself from laughing so much.

People can't seem to tell when something is satire when it's on the internet for some reason. I read that this is the case many times with The Onion. I get it. When something is on the internet than it MUST be true and not just a joke. :roll:
