Planet: Atres - Like earth, but different animal life, plant life, minerals, metals, elements (including an extremely un reactive element which rejects the planets magnetic feild but is weighed down by gravity causing floating masses of metals and rock where the Ancient live), and geologic features.
Dominant life: There are two dominant races on Artes
Garisals (Gary-saals) almost olny know as "Ancients": Look very much like humans except taller (around 2m) and with a large pair of wings giving them the appearence of being angels. They believe that all sentinent species were made to protect all life forms. They have the ability to calm animals with their minds, and are very strong and agile, and have a strong resistance to poisons, venom and corruption. They also have the ability of "spiritual bonding" where two Ancients can tune into eachothers brain wavelengths perfectly and their knowledge is immediately shared as if they are one being with two bodies (only two being very strongly in love can do this). "Shared experience" is very similar to spiritual bonding, except it is the connection of every single Ancient that is alive, they can share knowledge, experience, stories or any thing they wish to share, an Ancient can "tune in" to a single Ancient or all others. There are no schools because of this ability as there is no need. When Ancients sleep, dreams are also shared by Shared experience and the Ancient can still learn thing while asleep because of this ability.
Stoneborn: A short race of dwarf like creatures who have dug an immense tunnel system underground mainly in mountains, who's entire anatomy is made of rocky-like cells, as a result they can take a incredible amount of damage and are very strong so can do lots of physical labour which comes in handy when your civilisation is built on mining and metal work. They also have a fairly large resistance to corruption and have the same belief system as the Ancients except they believe they were created by "Subro" the god of rock.

Stoneborn: Bash'avilsar (Strength and wisdom)

Stoneborn- Stros'jal noripar lalit brash! (Together we are Strong!)
Religious belief system: (You dont need to read this but you can if you're into the lore) Both races share the same religious belief, that in the begining of time there were five titans: Magmathar the lord of the flame, Thundaar the howling gale, Aqualis the warter lord, Gorim the world forger and Freya the life binder. They created many worlds where all the elements and life flourished, but Magmathar, Thundaar, Aqualis and Gorim began to get corrupted by living in areas where the walls of the universe were weaker so the influence of "Hellfire" maddened them. Freya was not corrupted and saw the other titans start to wreak havoc on world and so created gods: Nuheebu the creator, Akis the wise, Subro the shaper, Duhteejay the maiden of flame, Seshrah the tide master, Shemenluh the maiden of the gale and Eltuseemuh the gate keeper. The gods and freya killed killed Gorim first (giving Subro the power over rock), then Thundaar (Binding his essence to Shemenluh), then Aqualis (giving his staff to Seshrah) and finaly fighting Magmathar. Magmathar had gained strength from his corruption and Freya had to sacrifice herself so defeat him, by fusing him to Gorims anvil (origionaly used to create minions by gorim, it is now used to punish evil souls) and banishing him to hell. (giving her life essence to Nuheebu and Duhteejay took the flame of Magmathar gaining power over fire). They then created many more worlds and forms of life including the sentinet beings and Eltuseemuh decended to the underworld (the bridge between the real world, hellfire and paradise/heaven) and Subro created the Stoneborn to help forge the paths the spirits will take, and then were given sentinence, and placed on Artes. Since then, there have been two attempts by Magmathar to return to this world, increasinly strengthened by the corruption and unleashing demons onto the worlds (these attempts are known as corruptions because it is the period of time when the corruptions seeping from hellfire is increased 10 fold). Both Ancients and Stoneborn crafted powerful weapons to fight these deomons and protect their world. However since the last corruption, these wepons have since been sealed away in sacred places.
Economy: Ancients- do not have a form of economy as they do not believe that one being should gain more than another.
Stoneborn use small peices of increasingly rare minerals (gold and platinum for example) surrounded by a ring of common stone (like a £2 coin).
History of Conflict: Both races were very peaceful up until 3000 years ago when they were attacked by an alien called the Tridonians. Corrupted by Magmathar they have spread to many worlds destroying the wildlife on those planets and filling them with animals and plants from their home planet. The Tridonians attacked both races and it was a race against time to gather their weapons from the sacred places to fight back and luckily they beat the Tridonians back, but to no avail and the Tridonian influence on the world is ever increasing leaving the Ancients and Stoneborn ever more desperate to win the war.
Government structure: Ancients: A large meeting of any Anctients who wish to participate every month (or when needed)
Stoneborn: "The council of hammers" Four Stoneborn: Two who are born into power (King and Queen), One who is elected (like a prime minister) and the General of the military (Before the Stoneborn fought, it was the "Council of three hammers" minus the General)
Medical knowledge: As the oldest known races in the universe, the Ancient have had an incredible amount of time to gather knowledge of plant and animal remedies (not killing animals to cure, finding dead animals or calming them to a point of extraction of these products), and almost all diseases on their planet are curable because of this knowledge.
