If I had a time machine, I would go back time so I can remember my password for an account I made on GameSpot.

I'd go back in time to see if Leonidas actually face-palmed people.

I would do what Gizmo does:

Read up until page 41 and you will see. A DVD like that would be so cool to have :D

I would travel to Ancient Egypt to see whether the Great Sphinx of Giza was really built in 10,500 B.C., and if so by whom.

if i had a time machine i would...

Go back to the year 2005 and stop myself from leaving high school. I would be more outspoken and stand up for myself and not let others bully me.

...and I would take back something that I did to someone which I can't mention on this website.

If I had a time machine I would...

Test it to see if it worked... then sell it for a billion dollars. Use the money to enjoy the rest of my life.

I'd travel back to 2002 and get Ken Livingstone kicked out of office, somehow and none of the Routemasters would have been removed from their bus routes. These buses would still be operated along side their disabled-friendly allies.

To do some much-needed QC work in my past. A series of trips to visit younger versions of me in times of crisis. To ensure the space/time continuum isn't distorted in any way, a few provisions:

a) my former selves must not realize who I am (think Back to the Future II)
b) I must limit interaction to my former selves, avoid others
c) Can't stay very long, wherever in time I go

But how much revising of history is really a good idea? No chain of causation exists in isolation, and all phenomena are inherently linked by the principle of causality. There is a single theory explaining everything; we just haven't found it yet.

First, I'd travel 50 years into the future, and then travel until the point in time where people can be immortal. If possible, I'd take whatever was neccessary to become immortal for all eternity ...or just about.... then travel back in time. If it's a case of rejuvenation where you need to have regular treatment to keep on living, I'd stay in the future. If not, I'd take immortality and then destroy the time machine and bury its blueprints, etc, safely deep underground.
Time travel is dangerous.

With the time-machine, I would leave the present and just keep coming back to the same point in space/time, thereby creating alternate versions of myself. They are all me, and I am all them. It would be very weird and meta. With each backyard jaunt through time, it subtly alter the twins' memory and consciousness. Each new copy would have a slightly different set of memories, as each guy would remember going back in time in a queue-like fashion. Ultimate result would be an effective shattering of consciousness and identity. It would seriously call into question the nature of each, and their relationship. Would I still be an "individual" in the traditional sense?

Not sure if my post was deleted or if it just didn't take thanks to that silly error.

Anyways, if I had a time machine, I'd go back and arm the Native Americans against the European invasion with WW2 weapons. Ha! Then I'd travel along the new future to see how that goes.
