A synonym would be: AstrayInTakingafter (English speakers, correct me!)

Or AstrayInImitation :)

By the way, what language is that in your signature. It looks interesting.

The first paragraph hopefully in English, the second is in a conlang, I created. It means: A dream only exists until you reach it. It becomes something trivial after that.

I'd love to write a conlang but I don't understand language well enough. I'd also find it rather disatisfying in the end though - no one else would be able to speak/write it!

You do not need much knowledge to start. I didn't and had to search whenever problems arose. The fun about it is that it is an excercise in beauty (oh my $randomdeity, that sounds pretentious) -- and that you can express things which can not be expressed in English or whatever language you happen to be native speaker of. Like my conlang has many more forms for comparison including one which indicates that something fits the adjective more even though none of the compared entities actually fitted the description if used alone. An example: Jasu has 2 dollars, Jenve 2 dollars and 30 Cents. No one of them is rich but Jenvi is `richer' than Jasu.

But...you can do that in English. I don't understand, sorry :? :)

As for information on conlanging, which I'm starting as a hobby myself, here:

http://www.wikihow.com/Create-a-Language

http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Conlang

http://www.zompist.com/kitgram.html

As for a synonymous statement of my username:

"Non sum psittacus"

Which is Latin for "I am not [a] parrot".

Not as easily: "Jenvi mi'eha alna Jasu" (if at least Jenvi is rich) vs. "Jenvi mi'eha alsina Jasu" (is none of them is).
