I did that as a kid. I made a pretend wedding dress out of a fiberglass curtin.

Oh noo!

When I was in school some kid put some down my back. I have sensitive skin to begin with. By the time I got home my back was bleeding. I was not allowed to go home early.

If you want to make a time capsule and don't want to lose any of your stuff, go and find stuff that you don't use which is important to your family/flat mates etc.

Bonus points: you get to make them really happy when you dig it up next year/next decade after they thought it was missing or forgot about it.
