Mmm. . .

In a cavern, In a canyon,
Excavating for a mine,
Dwelt a miner forty-niner,
And his daughter Clementine.

Oh my darling, Oh my darling,
Oh my darling Clementine,
You are lost and gone forever,
Dreadful sorry Clementine.

Futatabi [Reprise]

Zutto zutto mukashi ni
fureta koto no aru ano nukumori
kurai michi ni mayoi magami
hitoribocchi de naite ta watashi

Long long ago in far away days,
that warmth was all I could feel
while hesitating and losing my way on that dark, dispirited path
and crying with loneliness

Shinjite susumu to kimeta toki ni
tobira ga hiraita sono saki ni hikari ga
watashi wo terashita
aozora ni habatakou
tsunaida sono te wo hanasanaide

When I decided to believe and continue forward,
a door/gate/opening opened and from the other side, that light
shone on me
flying through the blue sky
our connected hands will never be separated

anata ga terashi te kureta michi wo
ima hitori arukou massugu mae wo muite
tachidomarazu
wasurenaide itanara
itsuka mata aeru sou shinjiteru
michibiite kureta no wa
itsu no bi mo anata watashi no hikari

The path you illuminated:
I am walking alone now
I will walk straight ahead before turning and standing still
It is true that I will not forget you
I believe that we will meet again one day
Guiding me
Every day always, you are my light

[from Spirited Away]

I feel it in my fingers
I feel it in my toes
The love that's all around me
And so the feeling grows
It's written on the wind
It's everywhere I go
So if you really love me
Come on and let it show
You know I love you, I always will
My mind's made up by the way that I feel
There's no beginning, there'll be no end
'Cause on my love you can depend!

Tensei [Reincarnation] from the Claymore anime

Walking under a solemn moon
A traveler searching for an unseen tomorrow
At times confused, at times impatient
at times seeming about to collapse
A path that seems to continue for eternity
In the flowers swaying beside my feet
joy is blooming
Please don't overlook
the small signs of love
The mystery of a life that returns,
like the way a star is born...
Because I am always breathing,
within you.
The form of one fighting, at the limits of their strength
A traveler pursuing the reason for sadness
At time worried, at times wounded,
at times being betrayed
A steep wall blocking the way
In the wind that runs through the earth
gentleness is dwelling
Please try and hear
the whispered words of love
The mystery of a life that returns,
like the way the seasons change...
Because I am always watching over you.
In the flowers swaying beside my feet
joy is blooming
Please don't overlook
the small signs of love
The mystery of a life that returns,
like the way the morning awakens...
Because I am always breathing,
within you.

Those poets above me have said it. I would just like to add that we miss you, Moomz. You're important.

I am wondering where Drawyer is, however.

Kip too is missing. He's busy with his studies. It will be nice to see him back here.

If there ever had been a thread called "the newcomer of the year", I would have voted for Kip. The smartest and brightest among all of us. Actually, CatLover and Cockroach are on a par with Kip, as being nominated the newcomer of the year.

I agree with you on CatLover, but the other individual is no longer with us.

Yep, ban hammered, so that's enough of that.

Hi, Kura!

How are you?

^I'm pretty good! I'm currently typing out my epic poem, and I've typed four parts out of eleven so far!
Here's the first part, in which you meet the six characters:

Dusk Prelude
A moon child fell through one night
Clothed only in celesicant light
As she fell into the river swift and broad
The river streamed so wild and fierce
Closed sharply over her fair head
Listlessly and lifelessly she lay
Like a mermaid pale and wan

A star child fell through one night
Clothed only in incandescent light
As she fell into the river swift and broad
The river raged so storm and untamed
Closed quickly over her fair head
Listlessly and lifelessly she lay
Like an undine pallid and drawn

A sun child fell through one night
Clothed only in luminous light
As she fell into the river swift and broad
The river roared so silently and tempest
Closed slowly over her fair head
Listlessly and lifelessly she lay
Like a selkie dark and lonesome

A wolf child fell through one night
Clothed only in silvery light
As he fell into the river swift and broad
The river draped as an affluent veil
Closed rapidly over his fair head
Listlessly and lifelessly he lay
On the flooded fluctuating surface

A fox child fell through one night
Clothed only in golden light
As he fell into the river swift and broad
The river silkily wavering darkly
Closed hastily over his fair head
Listlessly and lifelessly he lay
On the inundated undulating surface
A raven child fell through one night
Clothed only in ebony light
As he fell into the river swift and broad
The river currently flowing narrowly
Closed suddenly over his fair head
Listlessly and lifelessly he lay
On the drowned rippling surface

Sisina of the Moon grew willowy
Small as a blossoming flower
Long white hair as clean and flowing as moonbeams
Soft red eyes as delicate as budding roses
Framed her zebra-patterned face
Shyness, quietness, serenity
Yet her true beauty bloomed from her wondrous smiles

Anthea of the Sun grey fiery
Vibrant as an elegant aurora
A sunburst of white blond hair shimmered as a sun crown
One black eye and one white eye
Peered evenly from her pale sunrise face
Viviain, cheerful, optimistic
Yet her true beauty bloomed from her sunny nature

Elsie of the Stars grew brightly
Radiant as tiny fireflies drifting
A corona of pale, colourless hair covered her head
Large golden eyes shone keenly
Like the heart of a star from her opaline face
Aimable, honest, gentleness
Yet her true beauty bloomed from her tender kindness

Ishley of the Okami grew silently
Contemplative as a wandering brook
Long silver hair curled round his shoulders
Red eyes gleamed deeply
Like watchful rubies in his snow white face
Quiet, pensive, reflective
Yet his true beauty grew from his hidden wisdom

Cedric of the Kitsune grew bonny
Free as a conflagrant wildfire
Long flaxen hair flowed down his back
One black eye and one white eye
Stared mischievously from his sunset face
Mystical, tranquil, affable
Yet his true beauty stemmed from his love for his family

Nikolai of the Tengu grew temperately
Passionate as a whirling windstorm
Long breezy black hair rained down his back
Intense golden eyes stared from his rich dusky face
Emotive, fierce,
Yet his true beauty was rooted in his protective spirit

Thank you for your poem Kuraudo, but... I am not a poetry guy. I never read them, world literature or what.
